Ive been using this Company for several years for my building insurance as they keep probing questions and time on the telephone to a minimum. This year the premium increased more than inflation rate. I spoke with 3XD (Nicolette H) directly and she was able to explain the reason for increase, we tweaked the policy to ensure the cover was adequate and the premium was reduced. Nicolette even managed to provide a further discount for me. Great customer service and a very painless exercise well done. This week I spoke with Nicolette Hogg with ref. to reviewing my insurance premium.

I’ve paid my monthly premium to 3XD for 13 years to cover building, home emergency and legal. Never made a claim in all that time until now. Often wondered as a broker who they partnered to deliver on an insurance claim as I could never see this on my annual paper work I received from them.. Now I know. They partner with a company called Sedgwick uk. (They are an international company) worse than useless to be fair. Read trip advisor comments for Sedgwick and see for yourself. I needed to claim on my emergency home insurance as electricity went off yesterday 4th December 2023, in part of the house. Took me from 10am until after 3pm to speak to someone. That is the easy bit of the process.This morning I’m still waiting to be notified of an electrician to be appointed to this job. Many many brokers partner with Sedgwick. Personally I wouldn’t use a broker again. I will take out insurance directly with an insurance provider who don’t work with brokers. That way you have more control. You decide and know who is covering your assets. This experience has been a shambles and stressful. I acknowledge it’s winter and there will be a spike in calls. These so called professionals can predict what will happen this time of year and should take on more staff to handle demand. Waiting over 5 hours just to speak to someone tells me they don’t appear too.
