I recently had an unfortunate experience with the repair centre Solus (an Aviva company) after my vehicle was damaged in an accident. The initial repairs were subpar, with several issues being overlooked and new damages caused during the process. It was frustrating and exhausting to deal with, especially when Solus closed my case without properly addressing the problems nor providing any resolutions.

However, I want to express my sincere thanks to Aviva, particularly the Customer Care Manager Mark, for stepping in and taking my complaint seriously. Mark's proactive approach, thorough follow-ups, and commitment to resolving the issue ensured that my car was finally repaired to an acceptable standard. Without his intervention, I would have been forced to accept poor-quality repairs.

I appreciate Aviva's fairness in handling my case and ensuring my rights were protected, even when dealing with their own repair company. This level of customer service is why I will continue to trust Aviva as my insurer.

The motor insurance team are brilliant. The online system is very easy to use and the chat is actually helpful (wish they were all like that). Online messages are acknowledged quickly and the speed of response was under an hour. Ruth and Allison from the AVO team took ownership of my query and wrote real emails - not just copy/paste rubbish. Great service, highly recommend.

They removed their customers' ability to view our pension policies online via THEIR OWN PORTAL. The explanation I received was 'we are too big to show each policy' - I am sorry, but I assume there it an obligation to at least provide an annual statement by post/via email in this case?

Nothing but a shower of crap. Had someone crash into mez they have admitted liability. Hard not to with the photos taken at the scene.

Aviva promised 'to make things right'. That was the First and 2nd to last time I heard from them. The next communication was 'your vehicle is too old, we're not interested, fo to your insurer for repairs as we will not pay out'.

I've had to take the 3rd party to court. Now Aviva are paying for a legal team to work out how much to pay me. So now costing them more than if they had resolved in the first place.

Can't get gold of, no response.

The thing I'd ever want having had the experience is be insured with them, having an accident then receiving court letters because the insurance I took out to cover me refuses to do the work I paid them for.

Insurance company tired to extend and delay sending me video Evidence so I could take the person who damaged my car to small claims court by withholding the video evidence that was sent to them to payout for my claim, except the refused to pay out or send the evidence my way.

I IMPLORE YOU NEVER TO DO ANY BUSINESS WITH AVIVA.

They are absolutely the worst company I have ever done business with. They have been withholding money from me for 3 years, I am now taking out a civil case against them to get my money back.

I recieved a letter in the name of Patrick Lubwa who purchased car insurance from General Accident (Aviva) on line using my address fraudulently. I called Aviva to report this fraud and after 3 phone calls and 30 minutes later they did nothing to help me. The Investigstion Team said they would look into it but would not be reporting it to the police as fraud. No wonder these criminals continue to use fales name and addresses because they know they can get away with it.
