AVOID at all cost!!!

Unfortunately, I have 2 breakdown policies with this horrendous company which I will cancel both! My son had a flat tyre on his way to work last week, he called them up they told him that he had to pay upfront £40 excess plus £44 for recovery (in case it was needed!!) before sending help! He waited 2 hours on the cold only for them to arrive with the wrong truck as it would only carry 2 persons instead of 3 (even though they were informed that in case of recovery they were 3 persons!) They told them that they had to book another truck which would take another 2 hours waiting!! The nearest tyre garage was only 5mins away!! At the end, we were forced to sort recovery on our own! We had called and complained about their incomplete service and ask for a refund but they denied it!! We logged a complain through their website and still nothing! Their customer service is 0! Very disappointed.

I tried to change my preference for automatically renewing ,but every time I change and next time login in i can see that changes not take effect. Not any communication but only for asking for renewing.Chasing me for hugely increasing from last year . Stay away it's a dangerous for you wallet service. They tried to renew your policy without you permission!!!

Please avoid wasting your money on this unreliable services. Invest in quality breakdown cover from a reputable provider. I chose Rescue My Car, and although I didn't need to use their services in the first year, I faced an issue in the second year. They automatically renewed my subscription at a slightly increased price, which was reasonable. One morning, I discovered a flat tyre on my car. When I contacted them, they inquired about a repair kit, stating that I needed it for them to assist me. Initially, I was unsure if I had one as I hadn't checked before. After initially saying they couldn't come, I found the repair kit in my car and sent them photos as proof (they asked for a proof). They promised to send someone to fix the tyre, but after waiting for hours, no one arrived. When I called back, they informed me that no one could come that day, and I had to wait until the following day for assistance. This unreliable service left me stranded, and I had to seek help from another provider, paying £100 for an immediate fix. I will not renew my subscription with them. Avoid avoid avoid.

My policy was auto renewed without them having given formal notice as required by law. I'm seeking a refund but that is insufficient as they are not conducting business in line with regulations. My recommendation would be to avoid, cheap is great but not if it's crap

Can't fault the service I received.
My clutch went completely whilst car at home. I contacted my local repairer to check he could take it which he said he could. Was thinking how to get it there when I remembered I had at home cover on my Rescue My Car policy.
I rang them and they said would get their local agent to contact me. Within 5 mins agent called and 20mins later he arrived and transported car efficiently to my chosen Garage.
Can't fault this service....well done.

I had cover with this outfit on 3 cars, I have ended one and the others will follow. My son broke down and after two hours of waiting a truck turned up and said he was only around the corner waiting for a job! It was late on a Friday so recovered home and he said call company and book transport to a garage next week. RMC wasn't as nice as he was and wanted £120 to transport!! I dont think so!! Thought they were there for their members!! Apparently not.

Had to call out recovery for the first time last week and was really impressed with the service. They arrived in 30 minutes, couldn't repair my car and took it to my garage,
