I am appalled at JustKampers' service and advise to avoid them if at all possible - they cancelled my policy after 2 weeks and refused to give a full refund, kept £400 with no explanation. Did not respond to any follow-up asking for an explanation or to be refunded the full amount and refused to engage on the phone - others have left similar reviews. A complete scam and I am filing with the Insurance Ombudsman.

Avoid Just Kampers Insurance, 2 months after cancellation they made a £125 charge for no fair reason. This was after ending of business and cancellation of short expensive policy. Very unhelpful business that is unfair on its customers. I will not be back and advise anyone not to use.

I would avoid this company like the plague honestly, this year was my second policy had no problem with the first year, although I've just renewed on the 23rd of December so my insurance isn't even a month old yet and after losing my place to live with no where left to go I had to make a very difficult decision to sell my van to fund living somewhere and now this money grabbing inconsiderate company thinks it's okay to try and charge me £315 too cancel a policy that won't be needed with 11 months of the insurance not being used they clearly know and want to target their vulnerable customers I'm disgusted with this and thought so much better of them until now I will most definitely not be using this company ever again....

Do not go with them. Worst insurer I’ve ever dealt with. Terrible terrible terrible.
I bought the insurance in September and I’m still in October trying to get them to accept my copy of no claims discount even though it’s on official documentation being certificates and letter-headed Correspondence from my other mainstream insurance provider confirming all the information they requested. I have tried emailing them on the [email protected] address they advertise and all the emails come back saying rejected.

It will be interesting to see if I get my money back from them as like others on here I have paid in full. The insurance ombudsman email is on standby. I will keep you all posted.

Paid £372 for a year's insurance, had to cancel it after 28 days. Campervan was faulty and returned to the dealer for a refund. When canceling the policy total refund was £130.00. Both just kampers and the broker took huge fees to cancel. Scandalous

So I've been with JustKampers for 4 years, no issues and to be fair they've been competitively priced.

Today I cancelled my policy after selling my van, less then 2 months in to this year's policy.

I was absolutely flabbergasted to find I wasn't getting any insurance premium back, having paid in full.

I couldn't find their rationale on the JK insurance policy booklet under 'my portal' but got directed to the Sterling Insurance website, then to find the KGM Classics Insurance Policy booklet (who underwrote the insurance this year).

I'm fairly sure JK should have provided me all the appropriate docs on their website, but didn't. In short:

Only 60% of my premium is refunded if I cancel up to 1 month in to my insurance.
Only 40% for up to 2 months (which is all I was 'entitled' to).

Then minus their fees and time on cover, left me with nothing.

I have complained and got a fee refunded as goodwill, but nowhere near the outstsnding 60% JK have obsorbed.

Sad way to finish with JK and has left a sour taste in my mouth.

I haven't been looking at changing my current insurance company, but it's gone a bit too much this, this new policy is £150 cheaper than my current company. Thanks for the opportunity to swop companies.

Scam artists. Last year they upped my premium by 100% to £1000. This year they quoted £1500 and when i asked if they could try to make it cheaper they came back at £1890.
