Excellent, professional service provided in a lovely setting with friendly knowledgeable staff. The eye test by Will was really thorough and well explained with lots of advice given. When choosing frames Henry offered clear guidance and was really informative when helping me choose the right lenses for my glasses use.
I was able to select from some great frames and my glasses were ready very promptly.
I would highly recommend this opticians, a great experience.

I’ve been coming here for years, and the experience has always been exceptional. Will and the entire team are brilliant – they make you feel very comfortable, explain each step, and really listen to any concerns. The staff before and after the exam are so polite and professional, handling everything smoothly and making sure you’re well taken care of. Love the new premises, huge range of glasses to choose from - highly recommend for anyone looking for quality eye care with a personal touch!

Just picked my new glasses up today and I'm really pleased with them. This was my first time at Scarborows Opticians and I will definitely be returning in the future. Great service; from the eye test, to help with choosing the frames and lens and checking the fit. I was after a pair of glasses that I felt comfortable wearing and I found them here: there's a really good range of quality frames to choose from. Very pleased!

We have been using Scarburows as a family for a number of years. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable; they identified my daughter’s Irlens syndrome, something which the high street opticians had missed. I would highly recommend this great, independent service.

Friendly and professional service from all members of staff. It was not too much of a problem for them to adjust the arms to fit comfortably by my ears a few days after picking up my new glasses. They were also helpful in agreeing to undertake seasonal eye pressure tests for me at a mutually acceptable cost. Thanks Will and the team.

What an amazing service! We came all the way from Kent to see if the honeycomb coated lenses would help our 11 year old daughter’s visual stress as she started secondary school.
The optician found she has been wrongly prescribed short-sighted glasses due to her visual stress which may have been causing her headaches. These have suddenly disappeared.
She feels very comfortable wearing the clear honeycomb glasses every day at school with on trend frames. These glasses double her reading speed and massively improve her ability to fully engage in all lessons. This is a game changer!
We cannot thank you enough and it was worth the trip!
We have no idea why this service and selection of lenses isn’t available in other opticians across the country. Thank you and we will be back for an annual check!

We first went to Scarborows for a visual stress assessment. The staff were fantastic in terms of their knowledge and approach to explaining the processes involved to my daughter. We have now moved all of her opthalmic care here due to the care and attention given by all staff. Couldn't recommend them enough!

Extremely positive experience here, both for sight test and buying new glasses. All the staff were friendly, helpful and very professional. The findings of the scan I had done were explained thoroughly. I have just picked up my new glasses - ready in less than a week- and I am very pleased indeed with them, both how they look and how they have improved my sight. Choosing them was a very good experience, with options but clear advice on what would work best for my prescription and needs. When I collected them, they were properly fitted for me and I have been reassured that should I have any issues at all, I just need to pop back. Highly recommend based on my experience.
