I happened to purchase a 7 days policy insurance as I was in the process of selling my car, my car turned out to be sold quicker than expected which resulted in me having to cancel the insurance sooner than expected. Unfortunately this insurance company doesn't offer any partial refunds or any good will gestures. Also the customer service provided by the operators seems too robotic, scripted, and not very professional.

UPDATED with screenshots of my emails to Temp Cover as I have received an email from customer support to say I never replied to them to confirm the refund! They have also told me I haven't read there email that they sent me on 14th August at 18.10 even though my first email responding to that said email was sent 4 minutes later at 18.15 confirming I wanted the refund.

I have also sent them another email today as they contacted me after this review and even though it shows delivered by my email provider they have not replied so I assume they are having issues reviving emails.

Very poor experience I bought a temporary 2 day policy TCV-MOT-35144159) on the 14th August at 17.54pm and noticed straight away I had a digit wrong on the car registration, I emailed customer services at 18.01 and informed them of my mistake and told them I would buy a new correct policy and could they refund my original purchase, at 18.10 I received a reply saying yes a refund can happen and I had to reply to there email with the details that they had asked for and I did this at 18.15.

8 days have now passed and I have since sent 2 further emails asking for an update on the refund and I have had no reply or no refund.

I did buy a new correct 2 day policy the same night at 18.26 so I honored my part of the deal.

I will wait for 14 days to have passed before I go to back for a charge back as the temp cover support email clearly states I will get refunded, and I have a time stamped email to show I responded straight away so it will be a n easy charge back but sadly I don’t think it should have even got to that stage.

Temp Cover will take your money but not so good to give it back! Based on my own experience with customer services I cannot endorse this company at all.

Foolish error made twice . ended up paying for 3 policy's for 1 vehicle . Emailed for refund on [email protected],
'[email protected] and
[email protected]. All emails do not exist. Non customer facing . I have lost £177.90 and no way of retrieving it . A very expensive error !

Dont go with this company as they dont honour customers - Day Insure is better and honourable - I had a quote from these people and the sent it to me by email, I clicked on the quote and it changed immediately £6 more expensive - thats not something I expect from a company that is supposed to be transparent - They also state call us on their website which is a lie. No Phone number - only email and stupid BOT. Finally on their chat go to keytype to a lady and Kerry says - the price can change at anytime, the quote given is not held we wont honour anything.

Best to aviod this company.

I was looking to get temporary cover for a new vehicle I'm purchasing and went to this company as had seen their advertisements. However, I am currently not in work but when I went to the disclaimers it listed the occupations they wouldn't cover which included Unemployed and Housewives! Ridiculous!
