Would not recommend if you have had a claim in last 3 years don't waste your time getting a quote from them.
I will spend my money elsewhere

Brilliant company. Gave us by far and away the cheapest quote and even gave us further discounts when we said we were C&CC members. Bespoke policy to our exact van spec and very friendly and knowledgeable staff on the phone. If you're looking for caravan and motorhome insurance look no further.

Easy to deal with and provide excellent customer service. Price is pretty decent as well (always could be cheaper obviously). Not claimed, so can't comment on that part.

Last year Caravan wise offered me a great premium if I changed to them. On their application form they asked how many years no claims bonus I had.
This year Caravanwise increased the premium by £100 I thought this was most unreasonable. And changed back to my old insures.
I was then asked by my old insures for my proof of no claims.

I contacted Caravanwise who then stated they do not acknowledge or recognise no claims bonus.

I had 9 years plus no claims bonus. After a hard phone call with Caravan wise they agreed to supply a letter stating I did not make any claims in the last year.
I nearly lost 9 years no claims bonus.

My experience was dreadful. Didn't have any real issues taking a policy out but got the impression they were unnecessarily complex when I opted to use another company when their renewal quote was, what I felt to be, excessive.

Be warned that they do not issue NCB therefore will not provide your new insurance provider with NCB which, making renewal a bit of a nightmare.

Wish I'd never bothered using them.

I've insured my DIY motorhome with Caravanwise for a few years now.
They were very helpful when the DVLA wouldn't accept the change of class and still offered insurance as a motorhome.
The renewal quotes are always very fair and they always seem happy to help when I need to make changes to the policy. The whole process of taking out a new policy or renewing an existing is very quick compared to most other insurers.

You just call up and speak to an one person, if they're busy they take a message and call you back in a few minutes.
There's no waiting on hold for ages, no getting transferred between departments and no repeating the same information over and over again to multiple people.

Insure my day van with these guys, last year they were by far the cheapest insurance and knew exactly what I had and what I was trying to insure which saved me hundreds, not always easy insuring a day van, but these guys got it. renewal this year and its even cheaper than last year - a rare thing, having a car, this NEVER happens with the big car insurance companies (hoping you just auto-renew at the higher premium), thank you for being fair and honest. 5 star.
