UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE
Contacted insurers regarding
a claim in September sent photo as requested however all they do is ask questions and talk, after numerous conversations they still have not to attended to asses or progress my claim, I am no longer interested with there delay tactics. The problem is progressing yet when I advised them no appointment has been made to attend. There actions so far is to manipulate the customer, this i will not tolerate.
My calls are also locked into the loss adjusters Sedgwick to manage as the insurance company, intelligent who are clearly not intelligent never respond or pick up my calls, I have made a formal complaint via Sedgwick but so far no response has been received. This company is totally incompetent. The claim should have been assessed within days and the job should be completed by now, it has now exceeded six weeks
I will however be escalating this issue externally as I am no longer interested in they're lame behaviour.

Expensive, difficult to contact and poor service.
Our policy cost has crept up dramatically and I have just renewed with a leading brand for well less than half the IF cost with virtually the same T&Cs. I went to call or message them (Sat am) and they must be the only insurance company in the world that is not open on a Saturday, has literally no contact details anywhere even an email address. The only time I have tried contacting them in the last 6 years they were utterly rubbish and I ended up sorting out the problem myself rather than waste any more of my life trying them.
In short they charge a premium price for a mediocre (at best) service. Literally nothing to recommend them although their logo is calm and soothing, maybe that, but that's all I could think of.

Quite possibly the worst people ever to deal with, use 3 different companies to deal with claims. Funnily enough 3 of the worst reviewed companies ever. Do not use unless you have a solicitor in the family.

Please avoid as they charge £50 as so called "non-refundable arrangement fee" if you change your mind or plan to cancel your insurance policy within the 14 days cooling off period. So once you get the insurance, you are trapped and you wont get the complete refund of how much ever you paid for the insurance. And on top of it premium is too expensive.

Got the building insurance policy Sunday night from this company and read through policy documents Monday afternoon and decided the cover provided was inadequate so wanted to call and enquire but you can’t speak to anyone on the phone you have to send them a message though their website and wait for a call back! So I decided to cancel the policy within 24 hours of getting the policy and send them a message but no response, send a message through voice chat the following day and they tel me it will cost me £50 to cancel the policy! This is illegal, and unethical! I will be making a complaint to financial ombudsman also will apply to small claim court if your fraudulent company don’t return my £50

Beware this company makes more money from people cancelling their policy than the policies they are selling! Spend a little more and get a decent cover from reputable company other than this one!

They are using 3nd party to deal with claims and very confusing to identify the company and get help when you needed. Very poor customer service. The person who took the call is not trained to help you but tricked you off to avoid any claim. Bad company, if you are wise, don't choose it only because it sounds cheap. It's usefuless.

If you opt to pay instalments you will have to deal with a second company and have a lot of additional terms and conditions to read through.
I don’t really know what I’ve signed up to and feel uncomfortable.
Now wish I’d paid for the whole policy in one go.

IMPACTS CREDIT SCORE
I had a perfect credit score before I used Intelligent Insurance. I paid all on time and there were no issues at either end. So why the impact? Intelligent Insurance use a contracted credit agency, Premium Credit, to organise payments. My credit score dropped significantly on both Experian and ClearScore. 6 months after cancelling and they have still not recovered.
