Having taken out a buildings and contents policy in March I have found the level of service truly appalling. A fault with the central heating should be covered as an emergency home repair. Unfortunately after spending over an hour on hold on the claim line (at 45p/min) it became painfully clear that they have no intention of receiving or dealing with any claim. I will be looking to pursue a complaint via the Financial Ombudsman Service.

After 18 months of putting my family through hell, we have only just been told that they won’t complete structural repairs. 4 months of my property being flooded and they’ve put down my patio and wall moving to becoming unsafe down to being wear and tear and not the thousands of gallons of water that were breaching underneath my property. 18 months of my children and dogs not being able to use their own garden to being dismissed by a ‘we won’t be taking your claim any further’

I called re my renewal, the agent was working from home but theor phone had no signal. While I understand and appreciate the need to work from home it is no good to the customer if the agent is using a mobile phone with no signal!!! If working from home use a mobile with signal and if thats not possible use a landline, come on - this is common sense surely?

Done a quote on compare the market and had to call up to confirm some details they were very good and went through everything on the phone with me and emailed me my quote and I was able to simply take this up online. I’m not very good on computers but all was easy to do
