Would give 0 star.

Lied to me many times, and lied to the client.
In essence kept telling me employment contract was in the post when it was not.
I refused to start work until signing any contract, so they informed the client I attended a funeral (which I did not).
This fell on my reputation and not on themselves as a result.

Eventually after receiving a contract and starting work, I noticed some unusual deductions on my payslips. After some investigation, one of their employees was dismissed, and the deductions returned.

Would not recommend.

My experience with Carbon 60 was mostly good. Some of the recruitment consultants I dealt with were helpful and professional. On the other hand, I must say the payroll team includes the most incompetent accountants I've ever come across. 90% of the time when I booked annual leave, my payslips would be wrong the following week. They also had the tendency to add on missing days, even full weeks worth of holidays to the following payslips meaning I'd be taxed severely and essentially miss out on the money I would have received if my payslips were processed correctly. Sort your payroll out please!!!

Completely unprofessional organisation. Do not understand the legal requirements for outside ir35 contracts (e.g. they ask for National Insurance numbers to proceed on b2b outside ir35 contracts which is incorrect), require contractors to pay the assessment fees for ir35 determinations and do not add any value to the process. Will not engage with them at all in future.
