I am not one to write reviews, however, my recent interaction with the team has been the best service I recall ever receiving.
It was on the back of a bereavement, but the agent was professional, clear, helpful & left me with a warm feeling.

Car went back 3 or4 times for a fault that was never fixed, including one of these times receiving damage that was poorly fixed, which angers and upsets me each time I see it.
There seems to be an environment from manager down to say one thing and do an other. From what shall be investigated and potentially fixed to receiving a call back about previously mentioned damage.

I can't fault the branch the car was bought from, amazing sales team and support, follow up phone calls etc but sadly this branch has let me down on my experience with Arnold Clark. While AC provide some of the best deals and value for money on cars if this is their standard level of their after care support I can see how they're able to save the customer money.

This branch will make me rethink future potential purchases from Arnold Clark.

Worst experience I have ever had at purchasing a car in all my years of driving!

Purchased a car aprox 3 weeks ago. The engine management light came on and it was taken to a branch for diagnostics. It was found to have a faulty oil pump, which is being replaced. Having explained to the branch that I would need a replacement car should it be off the road for any length of time as I work for the NHS district nursing service I was told this wasn’t possible as they have no cars available. Explaining my situation about work I was promised a car would be available yesterday morning until my car was repaired. I received a voicemail yesterday to advise me that there was no car! I have since contacted the branch I purchased the car from (east Kilbride) and asked for managers to call back, I have contacted customer services who said they would call back….. not a single person got back to me yesterday. I have since had to take more time off work, which may be the rest of this week as I CANNOT do my job without transport. You get the usual patronising message “I’m sorry you feel like this”. How do you expect someone to feel when something like this has an effect over their job? The people who sell the cars and the managers that approve the sales actually don’t care once that car is off their court yard. They pretend they are doing you a favour, when really it’s just the commission they are after. Not a care in the world to them that they have sold a FAULTY car! I await the patronising reply again….
