After being declined life insurance from 2 different company's I found More Than Diabetes on Google and asked if they could help me. Spoke to Luke who was brilliant and very knowledgeable. As a person with diabetes, it was a bit daunting to shop around for insurance, considering that I knew I'd either get declined or face invasive questions.

I initially saw an advert for these guys and they seemed friendly. I then booked a call with Sam and had such a personal and brilliant service. It's not like other insurance providers, it's like talking to a friend who I believe is really there to find a product that works for you. I had the call after being turned down by many lenders. Sam was patient (whilst I waited for my HBA1 reading) and when I got it, he instantly got me a price and everything was sorted. Thanks Sam, you are excellent!

Luke was extremely helpful and clearly answered the questions I had.
I also likes the videos they created as they were factual and easy to understand and more importantly, only a few minutes long.
Overall, my quote came within my expectations with some additional extras thrown in, so I was happy with that.
Luke (and his team), pretty much do all the paperwork. They set up a time to suit you and go through some questions (took about 30 mins), but they pre-warn you in their video about which questions they will ask, so I was well prepared for them!
What I should have said at the start, was I tried other insurers, like my banks own policy and a couple of other big names, but because I have type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure, they all said no to me. Luke guided me through everything and gave me options with several insurers (also big names) who would take me on. It has been a big relief for me.
I really do recommend trying Luke and his team, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

What a great experience and professional approach to help myself and my wife get Life Insurance, Sam Stevens worked very hard listening to my problems and coming up with various options, I highly recommend Sam and his team, if you are stuck and keep getting refused due to diabetes then give Sam a call you won't be disappointed.
