Communication is extremely poor.
We were asked to respond within 10 days to the offer (£) they had made which we did but heard nothing back, radio silence. Having sent a number of e-mails with no response I resorted in e-mailing a team leader directly, who to my surprise e-mailed me back promptly this gave me hope that my claim would finally be addressed, agreed and closed. She had explained communication had been slower than normal due to the weather (I didn't realise weather effects e-mail so much). She has now also failed to correspond consistently with me since her 1 and only e-mail, I have tried calling her, left messages and sent daily e-mails but nothing. Good luck to anyone who has the displeasure of trying to communicate with Sedgwick Glasgow it is literally soul destroying.

How can this company continue to exist? Like virtually every other person reviewing them the best I could actually give would be a negative star rating, and then they have the nerve to send an SMS requesting a review for their performance. Still waiting for any results after weeks and no one prepared to respond to my communications.

This company should be audited and disbanded. I have an ongoing claim for 6 years plus. The lack of communication, lack of professionalism and delaying tactics could score a 10 on a negative scoreboard. Still can’t believe all the big insurance companies work with them . They took 3 years to sort my house without looking at all the facts and the same issue happened and is now still ongoing. Having been left with no hot water in kitchen for 9 months was bad enough, along with having to pay the rent on my relocation property until they sorted themselves out, I now find myself without a cooker which is dangerous as it was moved for work to be done. No care for clients no care for danger to life. Am flabbergasted they still operate

Sedgwick were appointed by Direct Line as loss adjuster after my sister died in a house fire. Rachel Cameron is our contact and we met at the sister's house once the police had released it to us. Rachel was very professional and courteous at all times. She very quickly appointed a surveyor and contractors to clean up and renovate the property. Rachel was always available when we required any clarifications etc. She also through the insurance company reimbursed the cost of our sister's house contents as quickly as she could. The house has now been renovated after a couple of minor hiccups and Greg Reid appears to be settling minor items now. I would like to commend Rachel for her professional, sympathetic and courteous manner at all times through a difficult period for us.

Spent over 10 hours on the phone when you add all the calls including wait time together. Still haven't received my claim reimbursement despite the fact that the company assured me i would get it and i didn't need to provide anymore details or evidence. Horrendous company, do not waste your time with them.

Shockingly bad company

This company were appointed as loss adjusters and agents by Admiral to deal with our household insurance claim .
Their communication is disgraceful , they make promises to return calls and never do , you cannot get one point of contact and always get a different person who is not up to speed with the claim , and who promise you the earth , I’m afraid to say that this company do not care about their clients and should be embarrassed about how often their staff lie to customers .

My claim has been ongoing for 5 months now and I have made various complaints to Admiral about them , my complaints have all been upheld and I have been offered compensation which I have refused due to it being derisory .
I will never use Admiral again for insurance , or any other company that appoints Sedgwick as their loss adjuster .

I was put on to Sedgwick through Zurich to deal with a loss of earnings claim and have to say I was seriously disappointed by the lack of correspondence, replies took up to four weeks for simple questions, no answer from the main reception desk. Surely in an industry that deals with customers who are going through a stressful situation, the simple act of replying to a query is the least you can ask.
