I contacted Cavendish for a life insurance policy and found them to be most helpful and very competitive. The whole process was carried out over the telephone in about 20 mins and I was provided instant cover with a confirmatory follow up email and also a log in to the provider’s online portal. Initially I was disappointed not to get a quote for life insurance via the online platform. I was contacted quickly by Marc White who went through all the questions again (sadly part of the process) which identified where the issue could be. We came up with a way to address with underwriters, and ultimately he found me a policy that was 25% less expensive than the only other policy I had been able to source. Not the quickest/easiest process - but that's the problem with buying life insurance, not down to Marc/Cavendish Online! I've used them several times before, and would use them again.

Life insurance quoting process was absolutely horrendous. Suggested it would take 5-7 minutes, more like 45 minutes. Invasive and pointless questioning in a badly put together form. Horrible process, only to receive a ridiculous quote. If you mention any health condition they want the specific date you were first told about it or experienced symptoms, to the day.. Whenever you add some detail the form reloads slowly and refreshes to ask half a dozen more questions. Many of the questions are completely non-sensical especially in relation to earlier questions. There's a distinct feeling that if you get them wrong you might be denied cover. I do not believe anyone with any medical history is filling in the form entirely accurately without spending a good couple of hours trawling through their files.

Perhaps if you're in perfect health it'd be fine. Otherwise, avoid.
