Would give 0 stars if I could. We are first time buyers who don’t have much knowledge in the process. Mike at the Heywood branch in Newcastle Under Lyme seemed professional and helpful at the start. We specifically said to him in our meeting that the mortgage would need to come out on a certain date as we cannot afford it otherwise. Mike wrote this date down and said to leave it with him. The mortgage date is completely wrong on our mortgage offer and my messages have repeatedly been read and completely ignored asking him to resolve his mistake or advise how to fix it so we can do it. It feels like since we paid Mike his fees he has just taken the money and left us with unsuitable mortgage conditions and a right faff to sort ourselves! We are really disappointed with the service that has been provided to us. Disgraceful that we have paid £400 for the absolute bare minimum service and there has been no consideration to rectify the mortgage conditions.
