After more digging, it’s clear this so-called ‘agency’ is completely fraudulent. They advertised an empty shop on Gumtree, which anyone can do, then claimed to be a legitimate agency. A rude person named Maria sent a form by email asking us to fill it out, saying they could ‘hold’ the property for us. At the end of the form, it stated we had to pay £300 (non-refundable) to secure the property.

When we were ready to sign the contract, they conveniently told us the landlord had changed his mind and wasn’t renting the property anymore. Total scam! They waste your time, energy, and money with false promises. Please, beware of these scammers! They have another fake agency named That Property ltd.

We used Roberts and Roberts to do a survey on a house we were looking to buy that seemed to have a few problems. The survey was completed in record time, very professionally presented and highlighted the areas that either needed further attention or may need work in the future. Very impressed by the whole service and would recommend them to anyone buying a house who has the slightest concern about any aspect of the property.

The experience my business partner and I had with Roberts and Roberts to say the least was pretty rubbish.

The way this estate agents deals with communication is absolutely abysmal and I genuinely don't know how they operate as a branch.

They wasted 5 months of our time with a commercial property we were looking to rent that they had listed and felt messed around from start to finish.

You will end up having to do all the phone calls and emailing, with staff not knowing what's going on, passed on from person to person to even having to speak to the person who you met in person for the initial viewing "forgetting" who you are.

I highly recommend going to another estate agent or if you wish to proceed with your requests, to be wary of Roberts and Roberts.

Incredible team, great report and fantastic customer service. John Shackleton supported us with a home owners lvl 2 survey. Not only was the price competitve, but the report went above and beyond. Furthermore, John took a number of calls to help explain sections of the report which we had questions on. Really great work, thank you for you help!

Valued a house at 210k that sold 6 months later for 300k to someone else (with no extra work) and cost us the property/mortgage at asking price 256k as the bank wouldn’t lend to us at 210 valuation. Cancelled the appointment twice with 30 minutes notice to do the valuation. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid

The communication was poor and I was not initially informed of the date of the survey. When I called to query this I was told by the surveyor that bookings and communication are not his responsibility.
The survey was done within a reasonable time frame, and the report delivered within the timelines. I asked to speak with the surveyor as had a couple of questions about the survey. He said he would call me back and never did. I would go somewhere else if you want better customer service!
