My claim was resolved in eight days from first contact with True Traveller. Brilliant service. Full amount refunded without any issues. Just remember to collect all the documents and evidence for your claim. Very easy proces. Recommended insurance company!

I have recently returned from doing the Everest Base Camp trek. I didn’t need to use my insurance for emergency evacuation (thankfully) but I did drop my iPhone on day one of the trek from one of the rope bridges, meaning no phone for 2 weeks. Luckily a fellow trekker took pics for me and I just submitted a claim not expecting to get anything. I was paid out in a week! Wish I’d raised my cover, but the settlement goes half way towards my new phone. I’ve never made a claim before, so super chuffed the first time I needed to, it was paid. True Traveller weren’t the cheapest, but you obviously get what you pay for and feel confident that had I needed them in a medical emergency, they would have come through for me.

I have the 2 year worldwide policy that I needed for IEC requirements for Canada starting from June last year. I recently broke my wrist, everything to do with making my claim was smooth and easily explained on the website. I would really recommend taking the no excess policy.
I made sure I had all the relevant documents before submitting my claim and it was processed / I received the money in order to pay my hospital bills in around 5 working days. Really recommend!!

I had a really good experience with True Traveller when I had a medical emergency in the USA. The USA has very expensive healthcare so when I got the bill from the hospital I was shocked. After I submitted the claim they reached out to me within a few days and settled the bill directly with the hospital. They paid for my medications too. I really recommend True Traveller and I will be purchasing their insurance again while travelling. That peace of mind is worth it!

Affordable insurance. Currently travelling for a year and had to make a medical claim a few days ago. Claim was sorted in less than a week and fully reimbursed after provided receipts and consultation notes - no further questions asked! Staff are helpful and made what could’ve been an even more stressful process, easy and simple. So glad I went with them after reading so many nightmare situations with other insurance companies.

If you're going on a trip, insurance is absolutely essential because you never know what might happen. Unfortunately, I ended up in a bad situation where it would have been scary to be without insurance since medical care is expensive abroad.I chose True Traveller based on recommendations and have no regrets at all. Of course, I didn’t expect to need it.
I highly recommend it. The support team was always in touch ,very helpful and responsive. All claims were handled promptly and efficiently.No delays or problem.

Unfortunately i got sick during my 8 week trip in SE Asia, in Vietnam and ended up in a clinic on IV, called the 24hr number before going and advised me all was okay and i just needed to get the documents from the clinic, was in the clinic for most of the day receiving fluids and bill came to almost 600$, i made a claim once i was home and uploaded all of my documents to the system. Process was really easy, i was assigned Sandra within 24-48 hours and told she would take a look into my claim, another 24-48 hours past and they had accepted and sent me the claim for my hospital expenses, I would say it all took from Friday- Tuesday to get sorted, really helpful and glad I went with TrueTraveller!

For the first time after numerous travels I had to submit a claim due to a robbery, and I was amazed how quickly True Traveller handled that.
