This place is no longer what it used to be. There are waiting lists for various services, mix ups, delays etc Nowadays they offer group therapy on topics like depression, CBT, anxiety, mindfulness to name a few.

There is info on these same topics on the internet, in countless books, dvds and websites. Amazon have cheap books etc too and so do your local library for free. I was offered group CBT at Plymouth Options which baffled and amused me. Why would I take time off whatever I am doing to attend their group sessions which are not well run I might add, when I can find this same info online? And I did! Via Youtube. I watched a series of helpful videos on CBT from a trained therapist in the comfort of my own home.

At the moment Options are running workshops/sessions on the menopause. Really! Again the internet can provide a wealth of info about this topic and there are books and dvds out there too. This is a waste of taxpayers money. The internet has changed things so much that help is at your finger tips. So all Options are doing is providing you will info which is already out there. Just think carefully before you self refer to them because you can help yourself with the plethora of info out there not at Options.
