Really disappointed with them , whent there for wheel alignment as I have change some parts on my Rover 75 as my friend with garage advise me to go there.

When there drop the car for about 2 hours , as is Rover 75 similar platform with BMW 3 series they called me if I will be okay with £85 as need to be done on both axle and even if it was much expensive that I have done it for my A8 (£60) on different garage as was on Saturday I told them to go ahead so I can drover car back to Mansfield where I'm living.

On my way back notice that the care has the steering wheel not straight and if you release it will go bad on left side of the road. Call them back next Monday told me if I can drive back ( due to having a holiday planned abroad and being 100 miles away) but I couldn't go so planned when I will be back from holiday.

Just return now and decide to go on a garage near me ( instead of driving 3 hours way return and 200 miles , fuel will be around £40-£50 ) and I was surprised to see that the car is really bad I regards with wheel alignment, photo from the screen at my garage shop before start working on the car.

So I lost time & money for an easy job so I will not advise to go with them .

Two new tyres reasonable price mid range and also tracking completed. Polite staff. Called me before completing work and when it was completed. All round a good service. Just dropped in no appointment x

Preordered two tyres which were not in stock at the time. These arrived two days later having been delivered from up north, which I thought was pretty good service. Staff pleasant to deal with and both tyres replaced in a reasonable time while I waited . Customer area pretty good with free tea/coffee ( basic ) and a snack vending machine (items payable for).
Customer toilets are adequate.

Amazing service. Dropped my car in without appointment, as unable to get gears. Helped by 2 guys to move car to safe area, then after speaking to Warren and Donna in the reception, my car was booked in for them look at. Within 4 hours my car was sorted, they even completed MOT at short notice. Professional service, polite and helpful staff. Thank you guys.

Chemix are First Class, we've used them many times over the years for a number of different family vehicles. They are honest - they tell you what is needed, why, what is not needed and why They give you an exact price or an estimate when they cannot. Their work is faultless, and they leave your vehicle as it was found. If there are any issues you can always go back, and their prices are no higher than anywhere else. We would definately recommend them.

Where do I start with these cowboys. Took my van into them to get a new tyre fitted. They had to order one in so had to fit the spare wheel. All good at this point. Went to have the new tyre fitted and this is when the problems started. The mechanic decided to put the impact driver on the spare wheel winch this completely destroyed the winch. They then asked for payment for the tyre I refused and then they had tge audacity to say I can't have my van back. There I was on my own having to pleed to get my van back feeling very intimidated.

Donna the manager said it was my fault and there's nothing she's going to do about it. She's very rude and shouldn't be in a customer service roll.

The mechanics are not qualified and just stand around smoking all day.

Complete sham of a company avoid at all costs!
