Bought a watch. Watch faulted so I sent it back. Took 4 months and minimal communication for them to fix it. They then tried to get me to pay for the fault fixing even though I hadn't done anything to break it. As the fault was with the movement. Lost faith with the watch and the company so overall I'm down £170 and left with rubbish watch which isn't fit for purpose.

Scam of watches. Ordered an expensive Tissot with them. It never even made it to DPD the delivery company. Be very careful with this company.

After a bad experience elsewhere, I came here. The customer service were incredibly helpful and helped us order over the phone. The next day delivery was spot on, and the watch was sent in 3 layers of boxes and very well protected. The product inevitably arrived in perfect condition and I’m incredibly pleased with my service here.

Awfull experience, bought a watch in urgency, just for me to get the watch a lot later than i bought, tried reaching out to the call center but they never really answer, they don’t care about the customer or the complaints, never order a watch from here, I am probably going to start ordering watches from their competitors because their service is ridiculous!

I’m not usually a reviewer, but if I can save one person the pain I’ve been through - do yourself a favour and buy from a more professional place.

Defective Swatch watch returned for a replacement or refund within 30 days, they without permission or communication “sent it back to Swatch” for a 6-8 week wait to “confirm it was faulty” (it’s a battery powered watch that didn’t tick) and refused to reply in any reasonable manner other than to skirt my request for a refund or replacement, despite the fact that legally I was entitled to this under consumer rights act.

Eventually refunded when threatened with court action and a plethora of emails which they sporadically replied to with painful replies that completely ignored or avoided my actual questions/points…. Still refuse to acknowledge or even reply to any message about the return postage paid. Just buy from somewhere else!

I've been spammed with emails continuously for months after I ordered a watch last year. I've unsubscribed and blocked house of watches, it's excessive, the image is just the most recent ones, this is no where near all of the emails I've been sent.

Update: refund through PayPal resolution centre. I also hadn't heard anything from them in two weeks

This company, which trades under T H Baker and House of Watches (same staff) told me I could return a faulty watch for "exchange or refund" but when it arrived they immediately sent it back to the manufacturer for checking and possible repair.

The problems so far:
1. Didn't acknowledge receipt of the watch for 2 days after I emailed to check if it had arrived, by which time it had been sent away
2. Did not mention in any emails that their policy is to send watches to the manufacturer if they think they've suffered accidental damage
3. Misleading information in their initial responses to a request for a refund
4. Tried to phone ONCE on one of the two numbers on my paypal account to let me know they would send it back but couldn't get through. Then sent me an email missing out why they would be sending it back
5. I recieved these emails after it had been sent back so I was unable to recall the watch
6. The watch is legally mine but it was sent to the manufacturer for 6-8 weeks without my permission
7. They refuse to give me a refund. So they now have both my money and my watch
8. Would have charged me for repairs had I not intervened and requested that the watch be sent back directly to me at their expense.
9. Roger, Head of ECommerce has not provided me with proof that the watch has gone to Casio, nor accepted any culpability for the poor communication.

What a useless company this is. Bought a watch for my wife and it arrived not working. Sent it back at my cost and asked for a refund inc. my postage fee. Then emailed them again when I checked the tracking and it had arrive to confirm I wanted a refund. 2 days later it arrives by post. No refund for my postage. What a shambles. Avoid these useless cowboys at all cost.
