Have we hired new bin men? Because up until last week, I've never had an issue! Last week I came home and found my blue bag hadn't been emptied yet all my other recycling had been taken! I had a note attached to my bag stating some nonsense about making sure the correct items were in the bag for collection!!! Funny that! Because I've recycled EXACTLY the same plastics since this was introduced! Fine, I binned the lot and thought I'd try again for this week, came home today and the same thing happened again! Not picked up but no note! I'm a hardworking person who has always paid their council tax! WHAT FOR? I've had enough of this, again I've binned the lot and will continue to do so! Can't take my plastic like you always have, I shan't be recycling anything going forward! Somerset waste partnership! WHAT A JOKE!!!

Would be helpful if (a) the correct phone number was on the website, and (b) the pages to order and pay for 10 sacks was more instructive. I'm giving up trying to order and going to the Cheddar Recycling center where the staff are so very helpful.

Missed bin collection. Reported on their website. They asked me to put the bin kerbside and they’d be back to collect within 2 days. 4 days later and they haven’t been back and the bin is still kerbside on the pavement which is an inconvenience for my neighbours. Made a complaint and got a generic, useless response. Recently moved to Somerset from Suffolk. Somerset’s waste management is a shambles compared to Suffolk and their customer service non existent.

Back to missed collections, we have seen the crew drive past our road today, they have done other roads next to ours, no sign of their return. Now have to keep a full smelly food waste bin for another week. Not happy, no sense to their system/routes if indeed they have any. A complete shambles

I have paid to have my green waste removed and they have missed the collection on each occasion. The bin is in an easy collection place on the pavement. They have collected the waste from number 21 and yet leave mine at number 22 ( I am about 50 yards away from 21).I am paying for a service that is not happening therefore this is tantamount to stealing my money . Not acceptable. SWP do not act on the emails that I have sent reporting a missing collection and I doubt they even look at any of these reviews.

I never thought a waste service could cause me so much stress and detriment to my health. I'm left with bags of rubbish and recycling in my garden because they refuse to accept my medical conditions and collect an extra bag of waste. They refuse collections of my recycling after 1 person drops a can on top of my cardboard. Nows it's just rotting in my garden. This happens a lot as I live on a street leading up to a primary school and kids seem to love throwing rubbish in my recycling first thing in the morning it's due to be picked up. It's now preventing me from moving. The fact that one item in the wrong box sitting right on top is enough to outright refuse pick up is causing my situation get worse and worse. All because they can't be bothered to put one can to the side. Fed of them breaking my boxes as well

They don't even deserve 1 star dreadful service although typical of a public service run by a local authority. The chair of the SWP board does not even respond to emails recycling left for weeks and weeks. Assisted collections missed on a regular basis. Totally unaccountable to the public who are paying for this joke of a service. Any complaints or questions left on their Facebook page are deleted quickly to hide the fact they are not delivering on their contract. Resident's of somerset deserve better. People in South Somerset still without the blue recycling bags three weeks after service introduced
