I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the recruitment experience for the NBFI Data Analyst position. After dedicating hours to completing the required test, I reached out to both Alba Titos and Andrew with a follow-up email to check on my application status. Disappointingly, my email was completely ignored, only to be followed later by an impersonal, automated rejection email stating that my background and experience were deemed unsuitable for the role.

This experience has felt unprofessional, especially on the part of the recruiters. If my background and experience were truly insufficient for consideration, it would have been respectful to review this before requiring me to complete an extensive test. Ignoring direct follow-up inquiries from applicants like myself reflects a lack of regard for candidates’ time and commitment.

The automated rejection email, which didn’t allow for any response or follow-up, only compounded this negative experience. I hope that, moving forward, the recruitment team will reflect on how these practices appear to applicants and consider a more transparent, respectful approach in the future. This process has left a distinctly poor impression of Fitch’s hiring practices and its treatment of applicants.
