I have recently been a victim of insurance fraud and this company did as little as possible to stop it from happening. They didn't take the driving licence number, they didn't take any other information than an email and a name. Then rather than sending documents through the post sent it via email to the email address that had no reference to me. Once payment hadn't been received they then set a debt collection agency against me. Having spent time speaking to the debt collection agency I noticed they had proceeded to do hard searches against my file, further searches against my name, back ground and details, made threatening comments on the calls. I called Ageus and after being pushed from Piller to post I finally got through to someone who couldn't answer any of my questions other than to say report it to action Fraud. No apology in writing as requested, no reason as to why they didn't send a letter to my address before sending the debt collectors after me and basically nothing. I have never had dealings with this company, but most of all they refused a data request. But hey, they are right I am wrong, I now have files held against me with a debt collection company for an insurance I never applied for and their practices are no way near what I would expect from an insurance company... I would definitely steer clear of this bunch of cowboys as they have no care for what they do and have no care for their potential clients. Scandalous

Car insurance time - Ageas were the cheapest quote last year and after searching around, these still came back the cheapest this year.... so, I called them and it turned out my renewal price was even cheaper! This is the first time I have stayed with my original insurer, the lady I spoke to was wonderful, kind and very happy. Absolutely outstanding service. Thank you! ❤️ I hope to stay with you next year too.

I’m not even an Ageas Customer however i called your firm to speak about my claim and concerns I had about the situation and Sarah Macdonald couldnt have been more of a breath of fresh air. She is an absolute asset to your company, she gave me the time of day even though she didnt need to and generated a solution to my concerns within 10 minutes of putting the phone down. Treat her well Ageas! Thank you Sarah!

Went to Ageas as a new car insurance customer.Found a policy I wanted and paid a deposit to get the ball rolling.Two weeks later they call me to claim I effectively lied on the application so, guess what,- a hike in the premium
I did not lie to them.
Instead of just changing the date of the vehicle purchase they demanded more money
If I had not disclosed convictions or, deliberately lied,- I could understand the charge being a much more serious issue.
So,when applying online record the answers you give so they don,t come back wanting yet more money at a later stage.
I cancelled the policy and you,ve guessed it,- they demand yet more money and will state Ts and Cs.
So, be warned and be careful with them as they have scammed me and they will hide under the protection of the law to effect their underhand rip-offs.

Have been with Ageas just over a year. I've had to put a claim in after the car was run into while parked up at home. I just want to say thank you to all I spoke to. Everyone was pleasant. The claim was sorted very quickly and efficiently. Even for the car seats that required a replacement. I am really pleased with the service provided.

Terrible! Had my car stolen then they took weeks to get it assessed. So under this defaqto rating of 5 no hire car is provided until it's assessed. Then when it was they offered me 5k for a car that's selling for between 9-13k depending on mileage and spec. They then said it doesn't go on market value what people are selling them for bit there's engineers assessment. I sent examples of the same car as mine same specs and the value they are selling at. Didn't hear back from them for weeks. Unless I call to check up what's going on they completely ignore. Never again with this company, should you ever need to claim they will most definitely try get out of it. This is the first time using my insurance in all my driving years what a bad experience.

Not worth even one start! Worst experience I ever had! Customer service totally joke. Had an accident January 22, call next day for the update my case not registered…after that day every single time has to chase, no response for weeks. Claim been made and agreed with other side as wasn’t my fault and other drivers company agree to pay out straight away…. After almost whole year still chasing my claim with Ageas…. Avoid if you can, there are so many companies that are much better

The worst experience ever been with them, most people expect from an insurance company is in the unlikely event of being involved in the accident then your insurance company should deal with everything as long as you provide all the information they need that’s not what happened to me? I ended up having to deal with everybody myself accident repair centre, hire car company.I was promised people will resolve things for me and get back to me that was never the case,Only one person I spoke to was helpful out of my own experience with them. The only thing they were good at was pushing me and threatening me to take a deal I wasn’t happy with, otherwise I was gonna be left with nothing!That’s the service I got from having a fully comprehensive cover and paid them in full upfront. avoid them if you can Or otherwise, good luck
