A waste of valuable time. When we moved house two years ago Daniel was appointed to arrange our new mortgage. Although he was late for appointments he was an amenable gentleman and arranged us a reasonable mortgage rate.
Before we were due to remortgage this year we received a letter asking us to contact McKenzie Finance as they would be interested in organising our remortgage. I spent valuable time emailing Dan to spell out our new requirements for the upcoming remortgage. No reply. After a week I called the office and was greeted by the clerical team. She advised to just send in my documents and Dan would take care of everything. When I explained I would need to speak with Dan (as we wanted to reduce the term and put down a lump sum) she said she would pass on the message to Dan. Ultimately, Dan never got back to me. Mortgage advice is an unnecessary need for me as there are many resources out there to make an informed decision. I have now easily arranged my own mortgage and would not use or recommend McKenzie Finance in the future for any of my financial decisions. Poor service.
