Ordered a custom table from Jacob and team. Upon arrival, the table was beautifully made but slightly unbalanced upon assembly - we communicated this immediately and the customer service was impeccable. The team went well out of their way to visit and adjust the table in person, and we couldn't be more delighted with the finished product. Would recommend to others and shop with Grain Company again.

Beautiful, extendable table - well made, delivered well within the timescales advertised.

We went with the pin legs - I was worried they'd be less sturdy but there's zero movement/wobble. They're pretty solid, as my toes remind me every time I walk barefoot into one of them (user error, not the fault of the product).

Extendable bit easy to fit. Table doesn't pick up stains easily - and to be fair, we are wreckless little terrorist when it comes to staining stuff.

Interaction with both the team was easy - seem like super decent people - glad to be supporting their small business, delivering a fantastic product. Would highly recommend.

Posting photos, as much to show the table off as it is because my wife is pressuring me to, because "look how good the table and my plants look" 🤦🏻

Fantastic table and customer service from Jacob and his team. Really pleased with my beautiful table. The workmanship is excellent and it feels so solid. The Grain company went above an beyond to get this delivered to me extremely quickly. Jacob was really helpful on delivery; he helped me lift the table top onto the legs and advised on how I should assemble and extend. It looks perfect in my newly rennovated kitchen. I purchased an extendable oval dining table with black box pin legs. I wanted a precise width to fit perfectly in a dedicated dining space in our new kitchen. I looked at a number of options before contacting The Grain Company.

They confirmed they were able to manufacture the required extendable oval table to the dimensions I provided so I placed my order.

The table is very sturdy and well made. Even though we now have a modern kitchen this table suits our taste and decor nicely.
It was delivered by two lads who gave sound advice for assembly. Yes you have to assemble it yourself but I prefer this option as I know I build things properly and it allows you to see how the mechanism works.
To extend the table an extra piece is inserted centrally and locked into place, all very easy. Extended the table will easily seat 8 adults, in its normal format it would still probably seat 6 adults if you have standard width chairs.

I did have to wait slightly longer than quoted which started my alarm bells ringing as I couldn’t find them on Trust Pilot.
I needn’t have worried though.
As other reviewers on the website have stated, it is worth the wait especially if you’re having a bespoke size. It’s great quality and solid, no cheap veneers here and you can wax or stain to a colour of your preference. Wax is provided but I can’t comment on that as I used a bee’s wax I already had which has left a very nice natural looking finish without any greasy areas. The photos don’t do justice to the finished quality of the table, I would definitely purchase again.

I highly recommend. The Grain Company were so helpful through the whole process so much so i bought an extra piece of furniture before even getting the first 🤣
I totally love my dining table and side table. Beautifully made and they match my room perfectly. They will be well loved for many years to come.
