Had a nightmare trying to remortgage whilst interest rates were rocketing and we were awaiting some money from probate for an over-payment which took about 8 months longer than we were initially told.

Because of all this, Phil ended up securing us about 5 mortgage deals over the course of those 8 months, calling and changing our provider every time he found a better deal. This was completely above and beyond what we'd expect from a mortgage adviser, stacking more work upon himself solely for our benefit.
