Be careful when viewing houses with Charters. The estate agents will just lie and make things up. It was quite an experience talking to the seller and realising quite how many lies the estate agent had told. Probably the most annoying is that I was told the floor was engineered wood - it's actually vinyl. He also told me that the sellers would move as soon as the house sale went through - this was untrue. The sellers had stipulated that they would not move until the school holidays. The seller was surprised I didn't already know this.

Charters are fantastic to work with, we initially turned up to Charters to register our interest within the area, after only a few weeks we were contacted to view a property that matched our criteria. Nathan met us at the property and we could see straight away it was for us. The next day Nathan called us before we had a chance to call him which was fantastic and we put in our offer. This was then relayed back to the vendor and within the hour we had our offer accepted. Nathan kindly met us for a second visit late on a Friday which was greatly appreciated. Since this point, we used their mortgage adviser Simon who helped us find the best provider as well as protection cover, we then used their recommendation for a home buyers survey, Trinity Rose. Our lives we made so easy keeping everything in house, we were always kept upto date by Gemma until the day we completed. We can't thank Charters in Bishops Waltham enough, highly recommend them.

As first-time buyers, my partner and I had a really good experience with Charters, and sales manager Dale in particular was very good in keeping in touch with us, alerting us to new properties on the market and responding to any queries we had very quickly. In showing us around properties he was also very respectful, informative, friendly and not 'pushy' like other estate agents we've had experience with. Would 100% recommend Dale and Charters' services to anyone and we'd be happy to use again in the future.
