We have had the absolute pleasure of having Gary and his team at Latcham & Dowling deal with our house sale. I first contacted Gary in February with regards to putting our house on the market. We weren’t actually ready to put it on until April and Gary advised that April was indeed a good time to put it on. In between those times Gary left us to deal with getting the house ready and duly came as promised in April to appraise/price and take photos. We were shocked to find that our house was worth a lot more than a previous “well known” estate agent had told us. This “well known” estate agent clearly was not passionate about selling houses as they like to value houses low and sell them quickly. This is definitely not the case with Gary and his team. They are passionate, committed, completely knowledgeable, totally professional and consummate experts in their field. In fact, every superlative you could think of would be perfect to describe them! Also, another important thing that I loved was that Gary is a normal, hardworking, thoroughly decent family man with a great sense of humour! Can't fault the service and attention from Gary and the Team at Latcham Dowling.
Our house was very effectively marketed, with multiple viewings lined up almost before it was on the market. The portal gave us an up to date view of the marketing stats and offers, but we also had the personal touch with Gary, James and Alanya keeping things moving via WhatsApp and phone calls. They fielded requests from a very keen purchaser, and followed up directly and promptly with both sets of solicitors.

Gary is an amazing estate agent. He was so friendly and had a lot of patience putting up with me and my constant questions. He got back to me as soon as he had an answer. Wasn’t pressuring or rushing us which you don’t need when buying a house. I felt comfortable communicating with him and his team. He kept me updated on the progress on a regular basis.
I am more than happy with their service and am grateful he cancelled the rest of the viewings to give us a chance at buying our house.

Gary was very personable, knowledgeable and professional. He took all photos himself, with excellent attention to detail and was willing to update, review and change as necessary. He advised but always let us take the lead, we never felt pressurised by maket trends or targets.
