I can't give a fair rating, as I was unable to enter because of two steep steps. I glanced inside and it looked very well stocked, though small, and there was an internal step to reach the back room. It would be extremely difficult to make this shop accessible for disabled people, so no shade on the shop, but other disabled crafters need to know the situation. It looked like a jewel box of supplies.

My partner and I called in here whilst on the Northumberland coast path walk, the shop owner is on a list of places where you can get the walk passport stamped.
The lady in the shop very kindly stamped our passports and asked questions about our walk, and was a genuinely lovely person all round.
Although not a customer on this occasion we will definitely return at some point and buy a little gift, this shop deserves the trade 😊

A regular shopper. Love the range and quality of stock and ideas for what to do next. Always get what I go in for and any help and advice I need. Wish I had time to attend the workshops; but then I would have even more projects on the go!

A large range of quality fabrics, even hard to find ones. I wholeheartedly reccomend this company and projects and will buy from them again. Prices are competitive and delivery very speedy. I also received a gift of a fat quarter and 2 matching spools of thread. Very generous of them. Am delighted

Fantastic experience in this shop. Laurie was fantastic from start to finish. Needed some last minute alterations to my daughters flower girl dress and was done and dusted in just under 2 weeks. Very reasonably priced aswell 🙂

I took a BIG risk and ordered a dress for my wedding online and the company needed measurements. After my now-husband and I struggled with the accuracy of that, we went to Amble Pin Cushion for some expert advice. Norma took the measurements and made some suggestions about the dress, like changing the zip back to a corset back. When the toile came, I went back to Norma where she worked her magic. She made very detailed notes and markings, and pinned the train because the original length was overwhelming for my height. When the final product came it fit perfectly. It was the perfect dress for the perfect day!

Really friendly staff and first class service. We use them for work (zips put in, adjustments, etc) and buy from the shop too. Always excellent.

I've also had the pleasure of also doing some work for Amble Pin Cushion and they are equally as brilliant to their suppliers as they are to their customers. Other businesses would do well emultaing the way they work!

I was told when I entered that there was a no touch policy. I am ok with that and understand..I had a mask on and used the hand gel on my hands. There was no one else in the shop.
I was asked to say what I wanted to look at… really I just wanted to look around, I love crocheting and knitting so I was looking forward to browsing… without touching. I said the wool and crocheting, I was showed where to find these and also books of patterns, I turned around and was told to watch what I was doing as my bag nearly touched some wool… I felt really uncomfortable and left saying I’d rather not look. I have worked all through this last year for the NHS and have been so careful.. one shop I wouldn’t want to enter again! I thought the assistant was rude and abrupt… not a pleasant experience.
