All Trades GB were appointed by Aviva to repair damage to my ceiling and landing floor caused by the plumber (not a All Trades contractor) in a trace and access claim.

They were asked not to damage the newly decorated hall stairs and landing and to focus on the repairs as required. This required 3 different trades people, a joiner to repair the floor, a plasterer to re-skim the whole of the hall ceiling and a decorator to paint the ceiling once dry.

All of this work was carried out in a highly professional and careful manner meaning no further disruption. This included sheeting the whole of the hall way to ensure that no plaster could splash on the wallpaper. We were absolutely delighted with the end results and the whole experience with all the trades team.

Unfortunately the plumber (not an All Trades contractor) had not repaired the leak properly and this work needed to be repeated once the plumbing contractors had revisited my home to properly repair the leak.

I had no hesitation in asking All Trades to re-repair the ceiling to the same standard as previously completed.

Each contractor treated our home as if it were there own, and the staff in the office co-ordinated with me in an extremely friendly and professional manner. I could not be happier with All Trades and have no hesitation giving this five star review.

They are currently in the process of very slowly wrecking my home, courtesy of Aviva insurance. At every stage the work has been planned and executed incompetently. When they arrived on day one I wasn't there, so rather than phoning to ask where I was, they started demolishing the wall of my house without properly bracing it. This resulted in cracking in the walls in the room above which they have still not accepted responsibility for. I am only grateful the damage wasn't much worse.

They then took the radiator off the wall, damaging the pipework in the process, which resulted in my central heating being rendered out of order, which they have made no serious effort to rectify. I still have no heating. It is late November, two months after they started work. This damage also resulted in water soaking into the joists below the radiator, which they have done nothing about.

They then rebuilt the wall without the necessary insulating material which resulted a huge amount of mould which meant they had to tear the plaster off the wall and start again.

They then decided that finishing around my front door was too complicated for them so they boxed it in with 6 inch wide pine planks.

They also replastered an upstairs wall without bothering to take the radiator off the wall, with predictable results.

They latest thing they have done is started laying the laminate flooring on the ground floor, which is supposed to run through the whole of the ground floor with no thresholds, but they have cut the boards at the door, necessitating a threshold and defeating the object of running the flooring throughout the ground floor.

Oh, and they got paint all over the radiator that they had just fitted (into a non-working system).

In other words, as I said, every single stage of the project, at seemingly every level, has been marred by incompetence. But, hey, I'm sure they're cheap!

If I could I would give this company minus stars!!!
Appointed by insurers this company were engaged to repair flood damage last year on my home in Rossendale. The photos below (other than the one with red wall) was the work that they handed over as complete. Their quality check was “the cleaner hadn’t said anything”!!!
Had them back twice to redo but standard still shocking and sent them packing. NB Aviva is still offering them out to do insurance work.
One year on I have just noticed they’ve used the wrong colour paint to touch up presumably red paint marks they’ve made on the ceiling but not even bothered to use the right paint colour.
Absolutely appalling standard of work and if you’re reading the reviews on this company check the names against the “who we are” on their website. You’d expect the MD to give them 5 stars.

Remove and replace bathroom vanity unit with 40m2 of engineered wood flooring. A fantastic service. I couldn’t be happier. Communication with the office was on point. The materials I chose through the insurance are the materials I got. Not similar cheaper alternatives. The tradesmen have done a 11/10 job. I cannot find fault anywhere. In fact they’ve gone above and beyond in places. Punctual, professional and polite. Very clean job on completion. I can’t recommend them enough. Would 100% use them again

House fire renovation in Seascale.
After a devastating fire at our home just two days before Christmas in 2023. All trades were appointed by our Insurance company to repair, renovate and re-decorate our home. Their professional approach and total commitment to quality were evident from the outset. Despite being a good two hours away from their Blackburn base their early starting and late finishing demonstrated their work ethic. The hard work and competence of all their workforce was reinforced by their friendly and helpful manner. The attention to detail and communication from their office staff was outstanding, nothing but helpful. Everything was done to the highest standard and any of the many difficulties overcome.
My wife and I would highly recommend their company and would like to thank them for what for us was an very successful repair and renovation.

Instructed by Aviva to track and trace leak given detailed instructions to lift tiles from floor and required areas to detect leak craig from all trades arrived on monday refused to carry out work cut small area living room ceiling and claimed hes seen pipework via this area attached pictures clearly show no pipework visible he then left within half hour company rescheduled to attend property Thursday to remove tiles craig again refused and faffed around by letting water run from shower sink when this action already took place on Monday refused to allocate leak by removing tiles in end I asked him to leave rude abrupt person reported to office all trades management even worse dont have clue times booked not followed this craig meant to arrive at 10am turned up at 8:45 when company informed of me not being available due to childs assembly no responsibility taken by management instead I had to inform my insurance to instruct another company and not send anyone from all trades again also to mention he blocked my recycle bin with van on bin day told him to wait by door while I move bin so it dont get missed due to his parking when i returned back to my house he already gone upstairs to my ensuite via bedroom this is disgusting entering a house without permission

I would not recommend the use of All Trades GB Ltd (based in Blackburn) at all. They were appointed by AA insurers and were engaged to repair water damage from a tank in the loft in an empty house we inherited from a relative, and despite working to a detailed report provided by the AA, they employed contactors who at best did a very amateurish job.
No radiators were removed and papering and painting behind these were awful, with wall paper hanging off behind some radiators. Painting in some of the rooms, and on the stairs and landing, were inadequate at best and no light switches or plug sockets where loosened anywhere and therefore paint was applied over the edges of these. Light fittings were removed from the ceilings and not replaced and where just left hanging. The bathroom had not been tiled and sealed completely and the bathroom ceiling had not been replaced at all. The celling had been replaced where the leak from the tank in the loft that had caused the water damage but no loft insulation had been installed. All rubbish had just been piled up at the side of the house.
Having believed they had completed the work they emailed me for confirmation at which point I visited the house and reported back on the work that had not been completed. At this point they asked me to send photographs off the areas of concern but I refused and demanded a visit from the project manager in charge. When he visited and observed the work, he agreed that it wasn’t up to standard and he agreed to get it corrected. Consequently, we had to wait a further few weeks for any more work to be attempted but despite further visits it has not been completed to any decent standards and no way in line with the AA report. In the end we just gave up and paid a decorator ourselves to complete the work properly
If you a are claiming for damage repair via an insurance company my advice would be to avoid All Trades GB Ltd (based in Blackburn) AT ALL COSTS!
