Brought my wife's engagement ring in for repair. They did a great job for 145 quid in terms of reseating the diamond to make it more secure and cleaning it all up. However, when we got it back, we discovered that the ring was snagging on my wife's clothes due to one of the clasps now being too long. Brought the ring back to the shop and they fixed the issue free of charge with no issues and now the ring is perfect again! Very happy with the service and will use Bellefontaines again! 🙂

I decided to buy my girlfriend a promise ring and came to Bellefontaine's to do so, and I'm very glad I did.

The staff I interacted with were polite, friendly and incredibly informative. I had not used many jewelers before hand, but out of all of them Bellefontaine's was far and away the best. I ended up having the ring made by them, and it ended up being even better than I had imagined. It was a beautiful piece, clearly made with skill and care. The engraving was clear and legible, if a bit small. I was kept up to date through the process, and it was completed promptly and within the time frame that had been discussed. My girlfriend loved it!

Overall, it was a wonderful and easy experience and I would definitely go back!

Just had a new engagement, wedding and eternity ring custom made using the diamonds from my original engagement ring. Fantastic service, very personal compared with high street chains and kept well informed of progress via email. Absolutely delighted with the result and special thanks to Tony for listening to my request and producing exactly what I had hoped for. Thoroughly recommend!

Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. I've taken both V expensive items and just costume items in, and on every occasion I can say I've been treated with respect. I've taken a very sentimental watch in when others have said it's not worth looking at as it's a wind up one, and Bellefontaines have come up trumps and their brilliant staff have not only got it working but also charged a good price... I've bought watch straps, writing pen for husband for 25th wedding anniversary, engagement ring plus other items and had items valued and cleaned and I've been happy every time. An independent shop where you get personal attention. Def recommend.

Never disparaging about small items of cheap jewellery of sentimental value which I have wanted repaired (which some other jewellers have been). Would always try here first. Very reasonable. The staff are well informed, patient and understanding - nothing appears to be too much trouble. I have yet to leave the shop empty handed.
