Huge shoutout to these guys who just retrieved a snake, yes you read that right a *snake* out from under my bonnet. Fearlessly tackled the problem, so grateful to them! offered them money for all the time they took exploring where he might be, they refused. They then pulled a long grass snake out from under my car, was told they’ve never had anyone with that problem before… I’ll forgive you for thinking I was nuts 😂

Ok ,where do I start, my triumph stag went in for what I thought was just to put new wheel arches on, however it turned out to be a lot more involved than I thought, to say there was a lot of holes rust,would be an understatement, the car was at mottos garage for about two years , mainly due to the amount of work needed and of course COVID. The work carried out was extensive,lots of panels needed replacing and a lot of welding,all through the process I was kept informed and had regular updates. As you can see from the photos the car has turned out brilliant and I am so happy with the end result. I would at the drop of a hat recommend motts garage to anyone, the service was excellent throughout,well done and thankyou to all involved, a very satisfied customer pm Sutton.

Fantastic service from start to finish.

The guys at Motts have replaced/repaired both the sills on my Polo after a failed MOT and provided the best quote in the area by far.

Colour is 100% match and the craftsmanship has made it look like nothing even happened.

The guys even offered me a lift back in to Colchester rather than going through the faff of a taxi.

Incredible work from Shaun and the guys at Motts, if I ever need anything bodywork related again, I will be coming your way for sure.

Such lovely, decent people! I recently bought a used car from a slightly dodgy dealer and spotted a piece of masking tape, which suggested some painting work. Wanting to be sure, I took it to be checked, and one of the mechanics had a thorough look. He reassured me it was just a cosmetic repair and nothing to worry about, explaining everything in detail. He didn’t even charge me for his expert opinion—a truly decent and rare gesture these days. I’ll definitely be coming back if I ever need any dents or scratches sorted!

After a poor paint job on my ‘69 BGT Lawrence took her on and swiftly prepared her for what has turned out to be a smashing result - there was much discussion about colour and he took the trouble to get sprayouts delivered to me (which didn’t happen previously) can’t fault the service at all - price was as promised as was the timeline.
