I ordered a 3 cubic metre mini skip from them in July 2025. Booking and delivery was fine, but getting them to collect it was really, really difficult and frustrating. I booked my collection on a Friday, 6 days in advance, for the following Thursday. They didn't turn up on the Thursday, and when I rang in the afternoon to check whether they were coming, they said they were too busy and had put it off until the next day (it would have been nice to be notified of this as I was waiting in for them). So on the following day (Friday)... they didn't turn up again, and didn't notify me. They finally collected it on the Monday after me ringing yet again and begging them to come and get it as it was in the way and blocking progress on my project. I'd call this really bad customer service. The skip lorry driver was lovely though - no reflection on his character or abilities. I just wouldn't use this company again after this experience.

We called Smith’s to book a skip and they have been extremely helpful and quick in sorting it out. They have some of the best prices in the area and were able to book us in for a wait and load on the next day. They give you a rough 3 hours slot to know around what time they’ll come to pick everything up and the driver has been really friendly and helpful while we were loading the skip.
Would definitely recommend and will call them back in the future if we ever need a skip again 🙂

We have been using Smiths for a couple of years now and the price is very competitive. We do have some issues with bins not being emptied due to vehicles breaking down, and they often don't return the bins to the secure location, but overall I would recommend due to the price.

Smiths have helped our small but busy Community Centre sort our waste removal issues efficiently and economically.
Their removal staff are always friendly and helpful.
In particular, Kayleigh from the office has been incredibly understanding and helping us with unusual, often last minute circumstances.

I use these guys for waste services at multiple warehouses. We have recycled waste - general and confidential. A decent - straightforward bunch who do what they say. Reasonably priced and with good back-office support for all that pesky data that you'll need later.
Would certainly recommend their waste services to other businesses.
