If I could give fewer stars I would, my apartment is under their management and they are completely unprofessional, ghost their letters, don't reply to maintenance requests for days, blatantly lie when asked things. They are entirely uninformed about the properties under their management, to the point that the apartment complex I live in got flooded, dozens of people had to evacuate, the firemen were on scene, everything was in chaos mode, and I got a call the next day asking if my unrelated maintenance request I'd put through a few days earlier, had been resolved, and I had to inform them that the building had been flooded and the other management company that runs half the building had been trying to contact them for about 12 hours.
They did not provide me with a room of equivalent anything, as temporary accommodation, and when told by the building inspectors that my room wouldn't be liveable for 6 months (longer than my contract was for) they didn't allow me to end my contract early to find a stable place to live.
We had to call them every day 3 times a day for 3 months to even get a reply and they would constantly lie telling us for example the person in charge was in a meeting right now, only to call back later and have them tell us a time he would be in, only for us to call again and then to tell us he hasn't been in at all today, and wouldn't be.

Genuinely the worst accommodation and company in lei. Firstly the accom is disgusting, abandoned building vibes , they don’t care about their tenants at all . The WiFi in my flat was atrocious been bad since we moved in and we’ve complained numerous times and there has been no resolution. As students WiFi is a priority but they really couldn’t give 2 as long as they get paid. Everything in our flat is run down and bruck and it’s genuinely appalling they have the audacity to charge what they do. We don’t even have an opening window in our kitchen- pretty sure that violates some type of health and safety There is a constant disgusting aroma of sewer through our flat and rooms and we’ve been told to just “put detergent down our vents”. They have no care for our issues and our the WiFi and service and claim the speed is good which is a blatant lie. I’ve never had to encounter so many problems with a company before .

Lived here for two years and I really only stayed because it was bills included and easier than moving. I've never stayed anywhere that takes so long for a maintenance request to be acted on: washing machines, oven, stove, and shower issues will always take over 24 hours to be fixed. I appreciate these are not classed as emergencies but when you rent with private landlords with fewer resources that fix these issues the same day they are reported it is not a good look and there is no communication on why it is taking so long. The positive is that the contractors they have when they finally do have them in are very nice and fix the problems quickly.

The worst experience with dorms that I have ever had. At first it looked promising, the opinions were not bad and the rooms looked decent on the photos. I decided to move to one of Brink Riley’s flats and I definitely regret that. After paying a £200 of deposit you could expect to receive a clean and fully working room. However, not here. My flat was not only visibly dirty, but also multiple things were broken - shelves, lamp, remote, chair, shower hose, wardrobe. Even the hoover does not work at all - I received a dirty flat that I am unable to fully clean. On top of that, the bed frame is damaged to an extent in which it influences my sleep. Those issues were reported via their portal, emails, and endless phone calls. Nobody decided to solve those problems despite almost a month of my effort. The company literarily lied to me, saying that someone would come to take care of it - obviously, nobody arrived on a said date. At this point, I am helpless with nobody willing to help me with terrible quality I received for a fairly big price. I have been living in a number of dorms, but none of them disappointed me that much. If you want to live in normal conditions for which you are paying, avoid Brink Riley Properties at any cost!

Stayed in one of their apartments for over a year - there were leaks, lift constantly out of order with little or no regard for the the welfare of the tenants. Their staff (especially the repairs officer) are extremely disrespectful and condescending. They also unduly took my deposit without justification.

literally so bad, stayed in the old post office for over 3 years. when we first moved in it was summer, they had old windows covered by new windows. which didn’t open, so in summer it was ridiculously hot. no air flow, and made us ill asked if they could do anything and they said no.
I had parcels stolen and they said they couldn’t do anything about it even tho they had cameras set up.
they have homeless ppl sleeping in the building no security what so ever.
I had general wear and tear on my room, sent emails about a replacement over a year later and had no response so had to stay with damaged goods.
when we left I had keys missing so said I would pay for my replacement, they tried charging me for keys I never even had and luckily I had proof of this.
I left in august and it’s now nearly October, no refund on my deposit, not heard anything.
Worst estate agents ever they are so rude, don’t respond and literally do not care.

I would like to give a positive review about the staff who helped me find a property. They were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and always went above and beyond to answer any questions I had. Their knowledge and expertise in the real estate industry made me feel confident in their recommendations. Brink Riley is a great agency if you are looking forward to move to Leicester. I have been living in one of their properties for 1 year now and have been treated amazingly during the whole period. The quality and condition of the houses and the prices are amazing. The best part is that they look after you and make sure you have everything you need and are well settled. Not only the service is fantastic but the staff if the BEST. Super caring and friendly, my heart belongs to all of the lovely girls that work there. They definitely made my experience in Leicester worthy.

I am beyond grateful and satisfied. Totally recommend!
