Let a claim drag on for almost a year before we escalated to the ombudsman (claim still not fully settled).
They are reluctant to challenge the insurer on policy wording (in case they lose insurance commissions), effectively acting for the insurer rather than the client (who pays their salaries!)

And also charge high amounts of commissions when arranging insurance.

I would advise getting alternative quotes and asking for the commission charges in advance so you know what you're getting.
