Their service is so poor and rubbish. I had this small incident with another car just scraces they charged my policy £31880 and they didnt even inform me anything until my renewal was due and i saw the cost was madness . I was trying to get them to court but they are not giving any information or break down . Please guys be careful with this guys . With £200 in Enginere pocket they can clame in your policy thousands .

Abousltey awful company wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, It has been four weeks I had the accident nothing is happening even though the accident was not my fault. Im still waiting for them to go ahead and contact me for repairs. This company should never be able to trade as an insurance company.
This insurance company is a total scam. Impossible to get hold of, weeks of delays. Do not buy insurance through this company.

if i could give no stars i woiuld! my policy was cancelled with them saying I failed to make payment, dispite me folliwing a link and instructions from an email of theres. when i made payment the site told me it had all gone through, howerver for some unknown reason, the money never came off my account, and i never recieved any email as proof. Ive argued this with them, and all i get is: computer says NO.. so ive now had to pay a £100.00 cancellation fee, for the pleasure, and then a £95.00 admin fee to open a new policy.. I know what i saw, and there system is faulty.. absolute rip off!!

This firm is the reason people don't bother insuring their car. Unprofessional crooks who don't answer their phone and don't answer emails. They'll happily take your money but if you ever need to use the service that you've paid for you're out of luck.

I have literally been waiting 4 months or more for a response. And just last week someone from the complaints team called me unexpectedly and gave me alot of hope thinking that someone is going to actually resolve this for me.

It has affected me mentally, physically, financially in every single way. I have two young children that I’m the sole carer for, and there is NO way since acorn has done this to me that I can get insured. Whether with acorn or another insurer. Taxi’ing was my main income source and you’ve taken it away from me. The way that me and my kids have suffered is inexcusable.

Let alone the constant mistakes made by axorn or haven; frankly I don’t care which company it is - I’m the customer and I’m suffering regardless - you have also now made me jump around giving me false hopes of manager callbacks and a positive complaint outcome. The fact that beginning of last week I was told that I will have a response the NEXT day, and how it’s now been 7 days or more, adding to the 4 months already waited , is absurd. What kind of complaints procedure do you guys have? I am honestly appalled by this as I keep being told the same things over and over again , either that my complaint is with haven, and they pass it back to acorn saying it’s with them, then you say you’re looking into it and you don’t, what is honestly going on

My insurance was CANCELLED due to a system error from YOUR part. Nothing in my control or my perogative. The fact that I am now waiting 4 months for an outcome is honestly too much.

If you CANNOT have enough decency to give me a final response by tomorrow, I will escalate this legally as I am entitled in my rights to do so; on the grounds of pure negligence that I’ve suffered with your company. I will be speaking to my solicitor if need be about this. O have been promised an answer & a call back tomorrow, genuinely this is the last straw. If not received then I’ll expect nothing further from you and I’ll take the route that I need to legally.

Avoid at all costs. Had a claim well over 8 months ago and although they have all evidence they could possibly need including a witness statement. I’ve had no communication for over 6 months unless I have contacted them. What’s the point of paying for a service they can’t provide? When I asked why they aren’t chasing it up, they said it’s because they can’t? Strangest thing I’ve ever heard, it’s their job to chase the third party. I will be taking legal action and trying to claim back for my damages and for the full year I paid them to have me covered.

Avoid at all costs. I will never ever go with those ppl again. Zero sense. Daylight robbery & they get away with it. If I didn't make the necessary phone calls I'd still be in the darkness of it all. No resolution I on a claim that has been paid out & they're trying to take money back from it when they shouldn't be because the claim is settled. WORST THE ABSOLUTE WORST. THIEVES. NOT TODAY & CERTAINLY NOT ME!!! FINICAL CONDUCT AUTHORITY HERE I COME! Zero stars absolute joke

DO NOT USE ESPECIALLY FOR YOUNG DRIVERS!!!! May be the cheapest to insure but it will be made up in all the random fines they send you, honestly worth paying the extra money on the next company- extremely unprofessional staff, they cancel your insurance for no reason, reinstate it when you call up then do it again and again. Do not waste your money or time on them.
