I had insurance for two months I made first payment then second I ask for cancellation then they asking me too make payment for cancellation When more higher than the monthly payment? And also I request online form They said they will respond within 48 hours But I haven’t received anything after 4 days when I spoke to the cancellation team they said they don’t have access to that email Another department dealing with the cases when I ask about the email or phone number. He said he doesn’t have ?
how comes a consolation team or cancellation department they don’t have access to email or full information !
he has to ask the manager to look request form So I made a payment of £243 first payment then £226 and
£487 for the cancellation just 55 days is

a big joke and an acceptable. You need to be careful and read information. Send it to you because otherwise you will be over charged for the cancellation means that as long as you leaving you will be charged I feel I like I have been scammed
How come making payments of £919 for just 55 days insurance ? not recommended

Absolutely shocking company.
The black box doesn't record the speed my son is doing accurately and says he is speeding when he is not.
They charge extra money whenever they feel like it.
You have to wait ridiculous times to speak to someone at Customer services and when you do, they are rude! When I tried to explain a problem, I was told it it my problem!
I cancelled the policy after 10 days and the cancellation fee is ridiculous.
Please avoid this horrible company.
A black box policy with this company will lead to alot of money and distress.

I am extremely disappointed with Acorn Insurance. After initially quoting me a competitive rate, they increased the price by £500 just 2 week later without any clear explanation. This felt unfair and misleading, especially since I specifically requested the insurance under my company name I did it with go compare, but they set it up under my private name instead.
When I decided to cancel due to these issues, I wasn't informed of options like changing the insured vehicle, which might have resolved the problem. I reached out to their team, emailed them and filed a complaint two weeks ago, but I have yet to receive any response. This lack of customer service and accountability is unacceptable.
I expected better from an insurance provider, and my experience has been frustrating from start to finish. I will be sharing this review widely to help others avoid the same experience and lack of support.

Going through a claim with them at the moment. I was in a serious accident and my truck was a total loss, I’ve disputed the value acorn gave me for the truck and it’s coming up to 2 weeks later and I still haven’t heard back from them. It’s impossible to speak to a manager and i was on hold for over 1.5 hrs trying to get through. I run my own business and having transport is vital and every day they drag their heels is another day I’m losing money and having to put customers off.

there is no other way to put it but this insurance company is a scam. my accident date was on the jan 6th and I informed my insurance on the day and told them I would not be putting a claim through and I am not at fault for the accident. Months go by until it is the end of my policy where I ask for my no claims bonus I was told I had lost them due to the accident back in January and that I had been put down at fault back in March. they didn't inform me of losing the claim. this neither did they repair my vehicle and only took my no claims bonus. please avoid this company

Extremely poor customer service. My bank has issues with their direct debit so instead of contacting me to resolve this like a normal company they instantly charged me £25 and sent me a DEFAULT NOTICE!

I've never missed a payment in my life and now I can't apply for a mortgage.

Disgraceful company, think Ebenezer Scrooge!

Awful company!! First of all when you call they put the price up from online for no reason other then saying the insurer changed, yeah okay I worked in insurance for 4 years just a bonus muniplation, but was still cheaper so took it cancelled the policy due to sold the vehicle and moved countries paid for a month before cancelling but even after £100 fee I still owed £4 I have no uk number so can't call and won't connect long distance, for them to say can only pay over the phone and will chase debt collectors over £4 then kicked me from chat before being able to reply, not being able to pay online is a joke over that tiny amount when I have paid them over 2k in 2 years! If I moved back I would never go near there awful service. Should be shut down by the fca

absolutely awful company. cancelled my policy when my car broke down on the basic of ‘excessive speeding’. the customer service team are abrupt and have no empathy. terrible company, you’ll receive warning about your driving everyday for no reason and have to be stuck on hold to reinstate a policy that they frequently cancel in error
