Can only agree with the other user comments on here regarding cold calling.

They called me out of the blue asking if I wanted to upgrade my product. After thinking about it I decided to stick with my original cover. Next thing I am receiving 2 calls a day (every working day of the week). For me this is a form of harassment and says a lot about the nature of the business if they operate in this manner.

It seems as though they are working in partnership with Money Supermarket, my preferred comparison site, as when I ran a quote through them for piece of mind I learned that "our partner ActiveQuote will call you to discuss your quotes". Needless to say I didn't progress my quotes any further!

Great service from Michael Gauci. He was very informative and helpful and took the time to explain the different options and helped me find a great deal. After I was passed on to the insurance company I made a small error in some personal details which increased the quote by £15. The next day Michael gave me a call to ask if I was aware of the increased quote and he went back to the insurance company to rectify the error on my behalf. Overall a great experience and I'm very grateful for the effort and help from Michael!

Great experience pre-sale but lousy post-sale - sent several emails asking if I'm covered and got no clear reply, and then the underwriting form, which is an editable PDF, cleared unexpectedly after hours of entering data. ActiveQuote seemed to assume I had a paid PDF editor licence. Crap.

Great service. Andrew was easy to speak to and spoke in layman's terms. Didnt try to sell me things I don't need and talked me through everything. On my policy expiring Denise called me with a deal for far better cover for a smaller price. I couldn’t find this lever of cover anywhere for the same cost. Even offered to cancel my old policy and made everything as simple as possible. Active quote will be staying on my policy as I feel they have saved me a lot of money and time. Wouldn’t hesitate recommend.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. AVOID!

I used this company to complete my life insurance policies back in march 2023. Since then I have had little to no communication, help or updates from ActiveQuote.

I have been making all enquiries relating to my insurance through LV direct which is extremely time consuming and completely defeats the object of using this broker. I have also been told by LV that all updates and communication have been sent to ActiveQuote but not once have been forwarded or passed on to me.

This is not acceptable and I have now requested for Activequote to be completely removed from my application and I will not be going ahead with the policy if this company get commission for doing absolutely nothing and delaying my policy.

Ran a quote through money supermarket for health insurance for interest as to price. They called me immediately to discuss my quotes and this put me off. Their number was suggested as spam from my mobile and I've since blocked it as other reviews have had multiple calls.

Ran an insurance quote on comparison site, ensured I unticked all marketing from third parties. No other insurer has called, except for this company who has spammed me with multiple phone calls in a single afternoon while at work.
