We were simply renewing & I would prefer not to have to start the whole process again due to a simple change. You should be able to advise if the change only. It took over an hour on the phone for what should have been a quick few minutes. However the advisor was helpful & patient & made the process as easy as poss. I have not had to claim so cannot comment on that process.

This was the buying process - online. I thought they way it deals with taking details - particularly relating to pre existing medical conditions - was absolutely brilliant. Very clear, very straightforward and intuitive. Well done. I also think the cover offered was very well thought out, and ideal for us. I think the way the policy choices are listed could be better (it's rather like a go compare thing, rather than a simple spread sheet of what they are and what they cost). However it does work. The problems started when I wanted to find out some details about making the policy multi trip, to include a trip within the UK. I couldn't find any info anywhere, so I referred to chat. The first thing is you think you are chatting with a human, until it becomes clear it's a bot, which only deals with FAQs. What a massive waste of time. I then was given an option to chat to a human, which I clicked and it said we are putting you through NOW. I just went dead, no 'we are waiting for someone to be available'. After a few minutes I typed an 'is anyone there?' message - no response, so in the end, after more minutes, I signed exited with the message, well I'll go somewhere else... Later in the day I received an email from a Coral, who had the contents of a chat in the body of the email, which implied I was not responding to them. This means either the technology sucks or there is mendacity involved. My advice - just use humans, get rid of the Bot - I don't know anyone who likes them. Anyway, this ruined what would have been a 5 star rating. In the end I bought the single trip policy a couple of days later because in every other way these guys are very good. I've used them many times before and I really like them.

Not as it says on website complete the booking in 2 minutes. This is after I’ve received the quote and email. It took 2 minutes to listen to recorded message and then 10 minutes to complete the booking. Why in this day and age can I not purchase online? Making a phone call that took 15 minutes is a turn off. I hope I never have to claim I guess that’s a phone call that will take forever rather than online. Get with it and use technology. It’s simple and cheaper. Customers love it!

You're perfectly OK to use this insurance company but not if you ever want to make a claim on your policy. They use a claim agent called "Reactive Claims" and there cant be a more inappropriate name to describe a company.
A death meant the trip couldn't go ahead. The death certificate was not enough to prove death so we had to spend £60 for the GP to reaffirm the death. Then we had a long wait...2 months now without any confirmation or communication. Avoid at all costs.

Used them for a cruise this summer so bought the cover again for another cruise next year. Disappointed the premium seemed to have risen quite a bit from previous although we had no medical changes. Part of the reason seemed our cruise included Spain. The cover seems very comprehensive but haven’t needed to claim so far.

Very easy to use online, I also knew if I had a problem there were people on the end of the phone. The price was very good compared to some and we felt comfortable with going ahead with the insurance knowing that if we needed to update the policy we could do so. Very pleased would definitely recommend.

Staff were always polite and friendly and helpful, call queuing time was minimal.
However I needed to update my cover to an increased number of days ( 20) but the price was extortionate. I cancelled my policy and shopped around and saved myself over £200 . I felt that more could have been done, and I was disappointed.

I have used AllClear many times since my cancer treatment in 2020 and they are by far the cheapest, friendliest and most accessible insurance company I have ever dealt with.
I can not recommend them enough. I will definitely be using them every time I travel
