They decided not to continue cover, as I hadn't answered a question 3 weeks before renewal about a safe.

Strangest customer experience I have ever come across recently.

Certainly not customer friendly, and have now lost a customer. Clearly do not need the business. I am also re-insuring other polciies now.

My partner lost her main stone in her ring recently and we are trying to claim re it but so far are encountering lots of issues with what seems to be an attempt to dodge paying for it sadly. Expecting some random websites to be signed up for and personal details given out to public at our expense or refusing to progress claim. Will report back and change score depending on progress.

Update -

Currently continuing in the process. Previous details where explained however I still don't like being made to use an unsecure system and posting my private phone number online for people to see. That should have been listed as a thing when taking the policy. The gentleman did explain the process tho and helped with my anxiety on the call

However now I'm being asked for my bank statements for me and my partner for some reason when policy is only in her name. Seems very odd how much data you want and how now of it is listed as needed or required by law or in policy documents or agreement.

I was going to insure my watch. Filled in form. Gentleman called me to discuss, we went through everything. He wanted me to pay over the phone and I refused as I’ve had fraud in the past with my bank account, money taken. He explained the line is secure for payment, but I repeated what I said, he then said he would send information over and quickly got me off the phone.

Information arrived with my WRONG date of birth on the document (thank God I noticed as this would have been a problem with claim if needed . . . I wonder if they did this on purpose). I called back and got this amended. I then asked repeatedly, where is the link on the email to make payment . . . which he didn’t know. I could tell he wanted me off the phone. I explained if there is anyone else there that knows where payment link is, please can you ask?. He kept saying check for the word “buy” which I couldn’t find anywhere. Cut a long story short, this caused alarm bells. Someone selling something should know where to advise customer to go to, to make purchase.

I then checked google reviews and saw all there terrible reviews.
Wont be purchasing any of your services.

I insure 2 items, not ever had to claim. Very reasonable prices and customer service is great.

I could not recommend this company more highly. We insured an engagement ring. The main gem stone of which was lost. Assetsure were incredible. Proactive and accommodating from the start. Their claims handling team saw to it that we had a range of stones to choose from within a few days. We were also allowed to use our original jeweller who made the ring. No fuss, just proper process and the claim was settled in full without a hint of a 'wiggle word'. Full marks to Assetsure who can be sure of our custom for years to come. It has been a stressful process, one made immensely easier thanks to the team at Assetsure. Thank you.

They kept incessantly ringing me but hanging up after one ring. When someone finally rang long enough for me to pick up, the man on the phone was incredibly rude and cutting me off mid sentence. He then chastised me for not having a receipt for an item I wanted insured even though I explained this was a gift and I therefore did not have this but had the original guarantee with my name on it along with a valuation certificate. After all of that they emailed me that they could not insure my items. In hindsight, I am very thankful for this as it prompted me to look up their horrible reviews !

Be aware that if you own a bike and take out cycle insurance with asset law they will not accept a claim unless it is attached to a fixed permanent item - my ebike ( my retirement present) was stolen from a locked shed and was locked with a gold standard lock but because it wasn’t it wasn’t fixed to a permanent fixture I got nothing back. Previous bike insurer did not have this stipulation.
Crafty and makes insurance almost pointless.

If I could, I would have given 0 stars! very disappointed of the service after losing my camera on a one year fully cover, I have tried to make my claim without success I have been neglected, very rude communication from Vicki ''Claims department'' on top of that my claim has been rejected without a valid reason. That's a big NO for me to any one who wants to make a cover with this SCAM company so becareful everyone! look for other alternatives, I hope this will save you time and money.
