I used Greg to fix my front porch, which stretches half the house. He came on time and does a great job of cleaning up at the end of the day. His building skills are very good, all parts of the build where tight, I'm an engineer by trade, so this is important to me. There was a beam that wasn't asolutely straight that he put up. With out saying anything, he took the beam out and started again, fantastic.
I would recommend Greg as he strives for perfection.

Greg at Austbuild managed our home extension from start to finish. It was a two story addition to the side of the house, accessed from upstairs and downstairs, a re-worked staircase, hallway and downstairs toilet room, a new workshop room linking through to the existing garage. There was also an outside-accessed store room and covered passageway down the side of the house and garage. The build took around 7 months from start to finish, and Greg managed all the required phases, supporting trades, suppliers and approvals for us making the process relatively painless. We were able to live in the house throughout, and Greg ensured that disruption was minimal, cleaning up inside and ensuring the utilities remained connected whenever possible, arranging longer disconnects for periods when we'd be out. His attention to detail and quality of build was excellent - we're very particular about such things! - and the few issues encountered were sorted quickly. Details included relocating original tiles off the rear of the garage onto the new house roof to ensure they blended perfectly, then replacing the garage ones with reclaimed items which would never quite match. The initial quote based on our architect's planning drawings was detailed and accurate; we ended up making a couple of design changes which Greg handled without issue (no fully detailed drawings required) and our inevitable frequent additions such as more lighting or other details was costed separately. We're delighted with the final result.

Greg has completed a number of projects at our property including a fantastic outdoor dining area.His workmanship is excellent and the building is constructed to a very high standard. We would have no hesitation in recommending Greg.
