I have been a loyal customer of Bell Insurance for three years now. In my experience, their commitment to providing excellent customer service and unrivaled value has consistently outshone all competitors. Baffeling price increase - I have insured my car with my son as a named driver for the past 12 months with Bell(end) Insurance- renewal time came around and my son is no longer a student but now in full time employment and I have moved house, so have updated those details with Bell(end). Car obviously worth a lot less than it was 12 months ago and my son has now got over a full years experience driving oh and my move, from a town to a village. Taking all this into account Bell(end) decide that my premiums need to go up by over 100% double!! W.T.F!!

What I still don't understand with car insurance is as your car is worth less you get charged more are they planning on paying me over and above my cars value if its a write off -- Don't think so

So for taking less risk they charge more great business model.

So so so glad I do not work in this industry, it is a legal obligation we all have to follow by having car insurance and we get our wallets raped every time for complying

Never ever coming back its The End Bell.

FRAUDULENT. I no longer have a car or policy with this company and haven't for the past 3 weeks, stopped it during the first month of the contract, yet they have taken out multiple direct debits and CONTINUE to do so, illegally.

DO NOT USE BELL. Disgusting customer service and illegal banking activities.

No fault collision Did everything they could not to help, i was fully comp, no courtesy car every excuse not to give me one. After 4 weeks of tirelessly trying to phone and emailing them with with no reply just give up. Garage phoned me ,then questioning me why my car was still in their possession and i was been charged daily. Eventually got through to them - they all of sudden they wanted more information to process my claim, like how much i owed on my finance. Blatantly trying to stall again 5 weeks no cars, having to get taxi to my daughters creche and to work , Happy Christmas Belle

It's all good until you ask them for anything or need to change anything on your policy. I had two cars with them and they are not able to provide a document showing correct dates when I had each car with them. They can’t even provide the correct NCD proof and without any claims they simply started to count my NCD from the scrawl on my last car with them. And now they are refusing to provide a correct NCD document even though it shows correct details when I login to my online account but there is no option to download that information so my new insurance doesn’t accept NCD from them.

STOP STOP STOP DO NOT CONSIDER USING THIS INSURANCE
I am gonna share with you my story with this company, 3 months ago I decided to join bell because they offered me cheap quote I was happy and paid what they asked, later they sent me the black box to monitor my driving score, I accepted plugged the device where they asked, after three months they sent me an email saying that my driving score is below the standard, for your information I have been driving for over 14 years in different countries, I hold also the full UK DL, JUST THE FACT TO MONITOR AN EXPERIENCE DRIVER USING AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE THAT THEY SENT BY POST, who knows what could happen to it, who knows how it works, two weeks ago they sent me a notice to cancel my insurance because im below the standard.
ARE THEY BETTER THAN THE DVSA to monitor your driving ability ?

in the email they said either I can ask for another cover to avoid it which will increase the money i give them or I cancel it by myself, pay the cancellation fees in order for them to not share it with other insurance companies. this is an abusive speech, a threat a a fraud call it whatever coming from a company that they said they care about customers.
Think before you move forward, DO NOT BE TEMPTED BY THEIR PRICES.

A NIGHTMARE!
My car had light damage and scratches and they found it as a write-off without even communicating this to me.
Every time you want to get hold of someone so you can ask about your claim you have to wait hours on end just for someone to answer and when they do they tell you it's a different department and give you endless apologies.
It's been 2 weeks since my car accident and I have days when they don't even answer the phone.
I asked for a callback and it never came.
Dont put your hopes up to get a courtesy car, its never going to happen even if you had it on your insurance policy.

They canceled my insurance over a 10 day period without my knowledge claiming non payment. The payment had been made day of request and they had to back track stating that the cardholder did not complete when infact the money had left my account over a month ago.

Worst customer service ever (in terms of call length). every call i have been on hold for at least a total of 45 mins. i once spent 1hr20 on hold to get to the right department and they dropped my call when i put them on hold to confirm payment details with a family member.

Though i must note the poor souls on the other end of the phone are doing their best with what this company is and very helpful when reached.... just if you do have to call, clear your schedule this is a day job

Go up
