We were recommended Richard by a friend and we couldn’t have been happier with the service! He was friendly and explained all the details in a clear and simple way that was really helpful for us as first time buyers. You really felt that he had our best interests at heart and wanted to find the best mortgage for us. He also sorted out life insurance which was great. I could tell him all the small details that was important to us and he paid attention all the time. Richard was always patient with us and there was never a question that we could not ask.

If you're looking for a mortgage broker, look no further. Richard has been phenomenal in representing our interests as well as providing advice about the whole purchasing process.

What I like about working with Richard:
- he's not just trying to close a mortgage today, he's trying to set himself up as your broker for life.
- he's got additional accreditations, allowing him to get cheaper deals on most major mortgages than other brokers
- he's always after the best deal, in one week I received two further emails from Richard after agreeing on a mortgage to say he'd found us a cheaper price, shaving 0.5% off an already very cheap mortgage.
- he's previously worked in real estate, so he knows the whole buying/selling process inside out and can give an objective perspective on what is going on behind the scenes whenever we've had a question about a response from an estate agent (who might be prioritising the sellers interests)
- he's always been on hand to answer any questions, has diligently explained the process to us and what to expect at each stage and overall has communicated to a very high standard.
- we've received 2 mortgages through him now, one which came within 2 weeks of our initial conversation with him and the other which took 3 weeks as the valuation took slightly longer to get booked in (not his fault).

What I don't like about working with Richard:
- Nothing, him and his colleague Claire have been brilliant - we'll be coming back to him again next time.
