After complaining to management regarding the chaos and lack customer parking due to the customer parking area being used by royal mail staff I was told i should park somewhere else and walk there. After pointing out i pay for the service (a po box) I was told to "leave the property". On another occasion a high value special delivery item of mine was handed to another person who was honest enough to make contact and tell me they had been given the wrong item. When management was informed of the error again I was just brushed off.

I have never had to deal with such a rude and incompetent management team.

After 3 years of paying for a PO box and sending 10s of parcels a week using royal mail special service I will be looking for an alternative solution.

I like several other people was expecting a delivery of medical goods .
I had arranged for it to be delivered to my mothers house so I could be absolutely sure someone was there to receive the package . As it was I was able to be at her address in time for the delivery.
Then out of the blue I received an email telling me [ Sorry, there didn’t seem to be anyone in. We’ll automatically reattempt delivery of your parcel the next working day]. This is a complete & utter LIE , I was sat with my mother awaiting the package . NO attempt was made and no card was posted saying they had been to the property , giving a reference number.
I paid good hard earned money for this disgusting service , the Royal mail should be ashamed .
It's no wonder at all that people are using other more reliable services .
This postal worker/ delivery driver should be severely punished .

Whilst sat waiting for my parcel I received a text informing me that delivery was attempted but no one was home. This was at 14.34 yesterday.
I was sitting on a dining chair at the table facing my window which is a couple of feet from my front door. My Ring doorbell wasn't used, because nobody was recorded at my front door.
My dogs didn't bark either, nor was a red card posted.
My conclusion is that either the delivery was attempted at the wrong address, (very concerning because my parcel contains medication prescribed for me, no one else.), or they reached the end of their working day and simply couldn't be bothered.
I've tried ringing the delivery office twice but after listening to the music for 45 minutes the first time and 25 minutes the second time I gave up.
I'm really worried that the medication will either be delivered into the wrong hands, or spoil due to needing to be in my fridge due to the heat.

Website to track your parcel only works when it wants to now that I need to check where my parcel Is I can't 🙄😡,can definitely say never had issue with any other company but this one stay away from these lot ,can't even build a working Website image what's inside the bloody place....

Royal Mail tracked 24 van delivery, was expecting a refrigerated delivery today BB2 3HW and the driver didn’t bother to deliver due to temporary traffic lights which meant he had to wait in traffic and marked it down as inaccessible. The driver should have not bothered to turn up to work if he didn’t want to get out of his van.

Would give 0 if it was possible. Twice now I have encountered the rudest man when drooping off my tracked parcels to be scanned in and abruptly points to the cages outside to put them in . There was about 6 parcels and nicely asked if they could be scanned now as I have had many issues in the past where they get missed ( there was no one else there at the time to serve) to which a woman came out and said to him oh they want them scanning now and he SHOUTED abruptly through the service hatch you should take them to the post office if you want that. To which I said was quite rude and the woman chirped in and said he’s not being rude you ignored him that’s why .
Both very rude and uncalled for.
I have also encountered the same guy before who threw the boxes into the cage which had fragile all over them and said ohh are they fragile and continued to throw them .
Wish I knew the name but he was an older man with grey hair and glasses

Had a very bad experience with the initial delivery of my parcel however, David Crook at blackburn sorting office thank you so much for going above and beyond to finally find my parcel! Royal Mail should give this man a pay rise. Thanks again David I appreciate it!

Didn't even attempt to deliver my parcel, and only notified me it was being held for pick up after they had shut. They're also closed tomorrow, and I needed the parcel today. Abysmal service, lazy workers and bad tracking overall.

Update: visited the collection office to pick my parcel up but was informed it's still out for delivery, despite saying available for pickup. Went out my way for no reason due to their poor service, the package will be rejected if/ when it shows up. Worker at the DO just didn't care, wasn't even in uniform. Absolute shambles of a depot.
