Last year, right at the last moment, despite ample notice, my existing insurer could not extend my professional indemnity as their underwriter was working from home and "unobtainable". So at 4:00 pm on my final day of cover I contacted Blackfriars. They could not have been more helpful and the email exchange went on until around 10:00 pm with cover commencing first thing the following morning. Unbelievable service. They absolutely deserve a medal.
