We have had 2 green bags of grass recycling outside the gate waiting for the council to pick up for 4 weeks and it is still out there. It's about time they put the council tax money to good use in cleaning up the area you brought a system in for recycling that you obviously cannot do. Absolutely a waste of time. My grass needs cutting again where the heck do you expect me to put the cuttings.

Where do I even start? A one star is too good. Bin collections every 3 weeks, recycling ever week when they feel like it. All roads full of pot holes and nothing gets done when its reported. Litter bins overflowing, dog waste bins overflowing, street lights left on all day and some street lights don't work at all. 90% of staff 'working' from home on flexi time so there nobody to answer the phone after 2pm not called Blaenau Bent for no reason

Why pay council tax? What you get in return? Nothing!! Ebbw Vale is a filthy town! Rubbish and dog foul everywhere! Weed growing like in a jungle! Savage parking on double yellows everywhere!!! Clean the town!!

Corrupt, money grabbing council.
The worse county in the UK one of the highest council tax fees, and look around its horrible here.

Pot holes on every road, over flowing rubbish, fly tipping, limited tip slots, horrible attitude at the office, 3 week bin collection i can go on

Disgusting service.
My friend has not had her recycling collected for over two weeks. Rang council and they said "maybe they had to go unload the recycling truck and will come back" was informed if recycling was not collected by 3.30pm to ring council back.

Rang council back and she logged it as a missed collection. Was told to leave recycling outside my friends property and it be collected next Monday. Next Monday came and went so Rang council again and was told that maybe the recycling guys thought each other had collected it. Was then informed it be logged as another missed collection and a supervisor would be out on 13th June to sort it and that it be collected on 13th June. No one came out and now recycling containers full and can not place anymore recycling into containers as no room. This is now going to be 3 weeks worth of recycling they have not collected.
On top of this my friend paid for four items to be collected and this was due to be picked up yesterday being the 13th. They failed to pick up these four items. So Rang council and they now trying to say they cannot find the collection order for bulky waste on there system. This order was place on the 7th I believe of June. So the council not only have failed to collect the recycling and failed to collect it on the 13th as promised they would do, but failed to send out a supervisor, collecte the recycling and failed to pick up the four items paid for. Now they can't find the items on there system we paid for for them to pick up yesterday being 13th. They have not even offered to reimburse my money. Told me a supervisor would ring me at 9am today being 14th june. Never got the call.
Absolute disgusting service. They are so lazy, full of excuses, never accept any blame for there incompetence. And totally wast my time.

independents on the council should be working more for the people who voted them in not crucifying them over recycling fines and not picking up rubbish when scheduled. the lofty do-gooders who answer to no one it seems but their own high superior intelligence, tell us the poor general public, what a terrible time they have from the welsh government by not hitting their recycling targets but then letting over fifty percent of the recycled stuff go to incinerator or landfill. shame on you for telling so many lies ask the people what they want for a change and actually do it not pay lip service to us and then do what you were going to anyway.

Most of the staff are good especially the bin guys, and the polite ladies on the call centre phones etc.
But we pay highest Council tax in the UK for one of the worst services.
Won't send someone to look at street lights on all the time because "it's cheaper to leave them running than send an operative to fix"
and why oh why are council builds that are empty such as Leisure centres and Libraries still being heated, must be costing a fortune, oh it doesn't matter not their money is it.
