Blue Chip have settled my claim, I sent in the estimate Wednesday they authorised it Thursday, the repair was completed, the invoice sent Thursday paid out Friday. As always excellent service, I have used Blue Chip for many years, they are the best warranty company I have used. If you are looking for a warranty company you can rely on you won't find better

I was mis-sold a used car warranty by GK Motors Ltd (Mansfield, Nottingham) when buying a used car, they informed me that their 'Gold' star warranty (they didn't do the bronze or silver package, they only offered the best!). The car has FSH which I've maintained. When the timing belt went causing major engine damage, Bluechip warranty said they didn't cover 'consequential damage' as laid out in my policy. Not what GK Motors told me! They told me I've be covered for the big items, not consumables like tyres etc (which is obvious), but quote 'if the engine or gearbox goes bang, then I'd be covered'. This has turned out to be false. Funnily enough, GK Motors do not offer a used car warranty with Bluechip anymore, they now offer a warranty through Evolution. I hope they are better than Bluechip for future unsuspecting customers! GK Motors have failed to reply to my emails. I bet if I contacted them to say I was interested in purchasing another car from them they'd be contacting me in a flash! Beware, typical salesmen will tell you anything to seal the deal, but then further on down the line you'll discover the truth that insurance companies just do not like paying out!

Very helpful and polite service, the lady I spoke to was lovely to speak to, a little bit disappointed with the final payment not being the full amount, but being a used vehicle I suppose it was to be expected.
I have dealt with warranty companies over the years, and this is one of the better companies.
Thank you.

Had another issue with the air bag light flashing, followed the procedure to get it diagnosed, and found it was the clock spring at fault, had it priced up and sent to blue chip, only to be told that it wasn't covered, what a surprise!
Just shows that most things aren't covered, as you would expect, and even if they are, you won't get the full amount re imbursed
Really disappointed and will know better in future, whether it is worth the money.

Just to inform any dealerships or car drivers, blue chip will never pay out they will only decline, best to choose another company for warranties for customers. Save yourself the stress and just keep your money incase you need car repairs.
