Negligent Service and Refusal to Refund Premiums

I am leaving just 1 star due to the utter incompetence and lack of professionalism displayed by Bluedrop Services resulting in the cancellation of my insurance policy and loss of premiums owed.

As a brokerage, it is their responsibility to clearly inform clients on policy disclosure duties and explain all terms in plain language. However, Bluedrop completely failed in these basic duties leading to my policy's cancellation by Aviva after only 5 months.

To make matters worse, Bluedrop is now demanding I continue to pay the remaining 5 installments of the annual premium even though the policy was cancelled prematurely.

This is despite the policy being sold on a pro-rata basis entitling me to a partial refund of around £30,000 for the unused period. Their greed and lack of ethics is astounding.

Bluedrop's negligence as a broker directly led to this cancellation yet they refuse to accept any responsibility. Their poor customer service and lack of accountability is unacceptable.

I caution all consumers to thoroughly research brokers before using Bluedrop Services. There are many competent alternatives who actually fulfill their duties and operate with integrity. Avoid the major financial loss I have endured.

The company is awful.

I ended up having to chase this firm for over a week to confirm my insurance was live after I paid the renewal money.

Their entire attitude, especially from their 'Renewals Advisor', Ben, was rude, non responsive and flippant. The worst part was not being given your documents or knowing if your house was protected for over a week.

There are other insurance brokers who are polite and will look after you and are cheaper

My experience was rather positive. Spoke to Chris Parker for a business fleet insurance this morning. Over £1k cheaper than the other quotes for the same policy with Aviva so I am very happy. From the min I spoke to Chris to the quote and card payment all were done within minutes and received all documents couple of hours later. I am very impressed with their speed and efficiency.

I have been with Bluedrop since last November I have found their administration poor. Policy is administered F from an office in Lancashire. Problems include misleading policy information, vehicles showing as uninsured, dishonesty and refusal to deal with misselling mis information. When raised senior members of staff ranged From dismissive to plain obnoxious.

I may be unlucky but I don't believe the reviews posted here or on their other Google review link. Their are better brokers in the world.

Started off fine the previous year working with Jade. Recently, got an email saying that my policy I purchased was no longer offered. I responded with information to see if there was another policy. No response. Followed up twice with a Ben in their office. No response. Poor customer service.

I was recommended to this company and may I say HOW AWFUL is this companies mannerism and tone of voice. Avoid Bluedrop, if it's not possible then avoid Thomas Perkins.
