we would like to thank Jane for all of her help and the professional way she handled and oversaw the project management of this work.
We would also like to thank both the plasterer and decorator for the high standard of work they carried out and left the area clean in our kitchen, their names I have forgotten.
A big thank and recommendation to Adam and Archie for the replacement of the damaged bathroom. Both worked to very high standard of workmanship and cleanliness, they arrived promptly in the morning and put in a full day making sure the work and surrounding areas that may have been affected were left tidy and clean. Adam was always professional and with his experience and personality made us feel in safe hands knowing that the work would be done correctly unlike other tradesmen from other companies we have used in the past. Both Adam and Archie checked at the end of the job that the work was completely finished and that we were happy with the work and could not see anything that may have been missed reducing the risk of a revisit.
We were also happy that when the work was forced to stop due to the asbestos issue that Archie and Adam returned to complete the work.
It is all too easy to send in complaints about work carried out but, on this occasion, we feel it necessary to add a review and say a big thank you to all and All mentioned in this review are an asset to the Blyth Group and this should be recognised.

Terrible company just do not use! Never ever come across a company like this, fob you off constantly, what should take a few easy days through the insurance turns into months, I am actually suffering stress and anxiety due to it all. Excuses and delays after delays at every level, you couldn't make it up, totally incompetent, I agreed to use them through Direct Line for ease, thought they would be reputable, bad mistake should have gone with the original builder. They have left me considerably out of pocket with a shoddy job half finished and all their rubbish inside and outside, only when I threatened to sue they removed some of the rubbish, but not all, my wall still has a bubble where they just painted over the original leak, no priming or anything. Needless to say I am taking it further!

Poor, very poor.
Tiling of floor way too high and such poor quality that white goods wouldn't fit under counter top. Also sloped tiling over the garage door stop such that the door couldn't close. Left us like this (and much worse throughout the rest of the house) for over a year. No apology or compensation from Blyth.

Aggressive drivers, pull out in front of cars on busy roads almost causing an incident and then proceed to swear and stick up their fingers even though they are completely violating road laws. Maybe think next time before acting this way in your work van… 😅

Our insurer appointed the Blyth Group for major works following a burst pipe in the loft in our house earlier this year. The work is now completed and we are absolutely delighted with the end result.
Their Customer Service team and job coordinators headed by Emily paid attention to all the fine details and were outstanding throughout the 7 month project. Their Surveyor Jamie offered excellent advice and expertise which ensured that all of the necessary repairs were included in the scope of the works. Their coordination with our insurer was excellent from start to finish.
Of particular importance was obviously the quality of the workmanship. All of the Blyth personnel who attended at our property were friendly, courteous and professional without exception, but their main contractors , Tony and Dave , were outstanding. Their enthusiasm and determination to deliver a first class “ finished article” were evident from day one and we now have a house that feels like a brand new home.
Our sincere thanks go to everyone concerned.

Direct line appointed blyth group after a water leak. They replaced my laminate leaving a damaged board in the middle of the room. Installed architrave and skirting incorrectly thinking that huge gaps can be filled with caulk without me noticing. Order the wrong materials. Painter can't paint at all he painted my pvc window frames and they do not do a full day's work in their life. After numerous complaints they pulled themselves of the job and I received an email from insurance telling me I have to do the rest with a tiny settlement which will not even cover the replacement of the incorrect work let alone the whole left work needed to be done. Avoid like the plague do not let any insurance company appoint these cowboys

I have not come across this company before but they were engaged by Churchill ( who were also excellent to deal with) to do reinstatement work on my bathroom after a job that was poorly done resulted in several leaks and extensive damage to the floor and kitchen ceiling. Most of the bathroom floor needed replacing and some of the kitchen ceiling : the kitchen ceiling was re plastered and both bathroom and kitchen walls repainted. This work was completed between 07/03/22 and 18/03/22 . Wayne and Adam were professional throughout and got on with the job in hand , talking us through the process and completing the work to a high standard. The tiling of both wall and floor is beautifully done and I now have a solid floor again ! Phil and Ash came to repaint and were also professional and just got on with the job in hand completing it to a high standard . The whole process was completely hassle free and not a bit of mess anywhere . The rubbish that was generated ( and there was a fair pile of it!) was neatly stacked outside and the guys came to remove it as Phil and Ash were leaving on the day before doing the final finishing touches ! Steph on reception was also great , easy to deal with ,cheerful and helpful . Can't fault any of them so its a big "thank you" from me for doing a great job!
