This business is a sham. They asked for numerous documents that are not included in the final evaluation. They string along the case hoping to wear you down. They then submit a claim without all the details that you provided. After deny any responsibility for the extremely low quality home inspection, they threaten you with legal action if you complain about the low quality home inspection. They make up information knowing full well you were never provided copies of documents you apparently signed. Justin and Megan work was unethical.

INSURANCE COMPANIES BEWARE: this is what the CEO thinks about wasting your money: "We will both incur costs that we will not recover. You will spend your money, I will spend someone else's. We will both spend time we will never get back. I will be paid for mine;" I'm not sure why CCM wants to spend $100K losing a lawsuit that can be settled for $21K, I guess because it's not their money they are wasting.

Lawyer up if your claim ends up with these guys. They will lie and try to scam you from the start. There's a reason they are rated 1-star on google and "F" with the BBB.

There is no way this is a real company. they "insured" a home inspector we used to purchase our home that was negligent. The inspector stated that we had PVC pipes and a "re-piping" was completed prior to purchasing our home. Fast forward, we are trying to sell this home and the pipes are polybutene material and will require a full home re-piping in order to sell it. We paid $11,000 to re-pipe it....so much money and Capital claims says they are not liable. I reported them to the BBB. The inspector was neglegent and the insurance company doesn't care.

Edit: Replying to the company’s comment below since I can’t directly reply. I paid a professional to inspect a home. An error was made on the inspection report. End of story. Yes, there were other things on the inspection report but that’s not what costed me $11,000, his negligence of not disclosing the wrong material is. Final point, if it’s not required to disclose the material then it shouldn’t be a question that is required to answer in the inspection report. Your reply is pointless in trying to point to other “defects” that I “ignored”. I made a decision based on the facts that were presented to me…And his error cost me a lot of money.

The company is fraudulent and excessively lengthy in their processing. They took over 6 months to adjudicate an issue they knew very well was not going to result in any significant settlements. The end result was 6+ months of continued damage over the issue the claim was about. 0/10, do not recommend working with any business that uses this company for their insurance or other business related protection.

Edit almost 4 months in the future, the company now informed me in order to receive a refund for the negligent services received I would have to take down this review. Imagine how many people actually removed their reviews/comments because this companies predatory tactics.

You can easily draw a consensus based off the poor reviews that they have. This company appears to insure a variety of unethical and dishonest home inspectors. Additionally, their claims handling practices are terrible.

This company is clearly not an insurance company. An appropriate claim was made against their client, and they denied of course, with no explanation. They claim the contract I signed for home inspection disallows my family from getting any more than $545 out of the claim. This clearly makes contacting a lawyer pretty pointless, although I'll be verifying that this is the case.

Their client didn't disclose in their home inspection that they never opened up the electrical panel on the home we purchased. The home was inappropriately grounded, and the ground was tied to the neutral on the subpanel. This has resulted in several thousands of dollars of work needing to be done to our home after the main switch blew up on our electrical panel. This was a massive oversight which resulted in our inability to negotiate properly (or turn down the home entirely), and Capital Claims Management just says, "No." I'm sorry, but what is business insurance even for if it's not to reimburse for these types of errors/mistakes/oversights?

R&L Associates will also be getting a 1-star review, and of course I suggest that they get a different business insurance. This one is a scam.

They don’t answer the phone my claim has been handed off due to people quitting three times in the last 3 months. My husband and I don’t even know who has our claim anymore as they haven’t emailed nor called. Spoke to “supervisor” who said ours would be priority 3 weeks ago to never hear anything again. Speak to operator option doesn’t work because it just takes you right back to main line. Ridiculous company. My house is leaking and sinking into the ground but wouldn’t count on them to take accountability for their clients. They’ll just give you a run around till you stop calling it seems.
Update they sent us to a new guy Leo, and he said it would be done in no more than 30 days, messaged him today to ask where it was at and guess what CHANGED HANDS AGAIN. Don’t use ANY COMPANY THAT HAS THIS COMPANY FOR INSURANCE ITS USELESS THEY MIGHT AS WELL NOT HAVE INSURANCE.

This company is an absolute joke. I gave sufficient evidence that the party that was at fault was WRONG, and yet they denied the claim. The only reason the claim was denied was because of my consistent calls to management to try and get any information after the set time they said the claim would be finished. Absolutely ridiculous, do NOT do business with this company, don't waste your time. BBB complaint has been submitted!
